Honesty shines brightest when practiced even in the smallest moments of life. Sherabling Central School Campus I proudly celebrates the exemplary act of integrity demonstrated by two young students, Pema Wangmo Tamang and Tsheten Wangmo of Class III.
On 21st May 2026, while returning home from school, the two students found a handbag lying beside the roadside near Sherabling. The bag contained Nu. 4,590 along with important personal documents, including a Citizenship Identity Card. Despite their young age, the students chose the path of honesty and responsibility by immediately handing the bag over to the Trongsa Police Station.
Through their noble action, the belongings were successfully returned to the rightful owner, Mrs. Tandin Wangmo of Baling, Langthel Gewog, Trongsa.
This remarkable gesture reminds us that true values are not measured by age but by character. Though small in age, they have shown a giant example of honesty, responsibility, and citizenship for the entire community to admire.
The school extends heartfelt appreciation to the Royal Bhutan Police for recognizing and encouraging such positive values among our young learners. We also acknowledge the teachers, staff, of campus II and parents whose continuous guidance, nurturing, and value-based education have helped shape these children into responsible and compassionate individuals.
May the inspiring act of Pema Wangmo Tamang and Tsheten Wangmo motivate all our students to always choose honesty and do what is right, even when no one is watching.

The members of the Tarayana Club successfully conducted an outdoor community service initiative aimed at restoring a heavily used local footpath outside the school campus. Students engaged in rigorous hands-on labor, which included picking up accumulated litter, sweeping the walkway, and clearing dense, overgrown weeds that had compromised pedestrian safety.
Through strong teamwork and heightened situational awareness, the students safely managed the hazard of reptiles, ultimately eliminating these long-term hiding spots and making the path significantly safer for friends and commuters.
This initiative extended learning far beyond the classroom, fostering deep civic responsibility, physical resilience, and practical risk-management skills among the club members. By taking ownership of a public space, the students not only prevented environmental degradation but also set an inspiring example of civic pride for the surrounding community. The school administration acknowledge one and all involved ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ

Key points shared to those who couldnโt get through Term Test I by Principal
* Progress is rarely a straight line. Many successful students face a learning dip before breakthrough.
* Identifying the hurdles
*You are not alone- Failure thrives in isolation, but success is built on collaboration ( Teachers, staff are always ready to provide scaffolding you need
*Asking for help is a sign of maturity and strategic thinking, not the sign of weakness
*The Success Formula- Success= Effort + Strategy * Persistence ( Strategy is just as important as effort. Working hard in wrong direction wonโt get you home ๐ .
* Term I was a diagnostic test for your habits, not a verdict on your soul. A new dawn is coming and with the right strategy, you will succeed in Mid Term Test.
* You must treat this result as motivation to work harder, remain focused, and come back stronger in the next term. Your capability is far greater than a single examination result.
* Early intervention and serious commitment matters for academic achievement๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ

Teachers of our school conducted a Professional Development (PD) session to share their experiences and learning from the Immersion Program held in different parts of India. The session provided a meaningful platform for teachers to reflect on the knowledge and exposure they gained from visiting different schools and educational settings.
During the session, teachers introduced various active learning strategies that encourage greater student participation and engagement in the classroom. They shared ideas on collaborative learning, inquiry-based activities, and interactive teaching methods that help make lessons more meaningful and learner-friendly.
The teachers also shared their understanding of a Cambridge classroom and reflected on what it means to be a Cambridge teacher. Discussions focused on creating learning environments that promote creativity, critical thinking, communication, and independent learning among students. They emphasized the importance of guiding students to become active participants in their own learning journey rather than passive listeners.
A key takeaway from the session was the importance of making classrooms more student-centred. Teachers discussed practical ways to encourage student voice, participation, and ownership in learning. The session became a valuable opportunity for professional growth, collaboration, and inspiration for all staff members.

The School successfully conducted an engaging and educational Esports Program under the theme โDigital Skills Through Esportsโ on Saturday with active participation from students( boarders and Dayscholar). The program was organized with the objective of promoting responsible digital engagement, teamwork, strategic thinking, and technological awareness among students in this rapidly evolving digital era.
The event highlighted that esports, when guided with proper structure and discipline, can serve as a meaningful co-curricular platform that nurtures communication skills, leadership qualities, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Students enthusiastically participated in various gaming and team-based activities that emphasized cooperation, decision-making, and sportsmanship.
The program also focused on creating awareness on responsible gaming practices, digital citizenship, online ethics, and maintaining a healthy balance between academics, physical activities, and screen time. Students were reminded that esports should complement education and personal growth rather than become a distraction from their academic responsibilities.
Through this initiative, students were also exposed to the broader opportunities associated with esports and digital technology, including event management, broadcasting, content creation, coding, graphic designing, and other emerging career pathways in the digital world.
The school believes that such platforms provide inclusive opportunities for learners with diverse talents and interests while preparing students to become responsible, skilled, and informed digital citizens of the 21st century.
School extends appreciation to all the coordinators, supporting staff, and participating students for making the program meaningful, educational, and successful.
