The importance of being flexible, caring, patient, creative, and willing to support children in different situations—from personal grooming and hygiene to helping children wash and stay clean. Such hands-on skills help create a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for young children.

Hands-on Experiential Learning: The children are actively engaging with nature by tending to plants, clearing soil, and learning about plant growth through direct exploration.

Fine and Gross Motor Skills Development:
Working with tools like small hoes, digging, and planting helps refine hand-eye coordination, balance, and finger strength.

Teamwork and Social Interaction: Working side-by-side encourages peer communication, sharing space, cooperation, and learning together in an outdoor environment.

Responsibility and Environmental Awareness: Engaging directly with the earth helps cultivate early appreciation for plants, food production, and care for the environment.

Focus and Concentration: The children demonstrate deep curiosity, patience, and focus as they pay close attention to the soil and young plants.

National Earthquake Mock Drill Day held on 21st September 2026. The children learn how to stay safe during an earthquake by remembering “Drop, Cover and Hold On. It teaches ECCD children to stay calm, protect themselves, and follow safety instructions during an earthquake. 🏠🌏
