🙏 Annual School Rimdro Ceremony – A Blessed and Meaningful Day 🙏

On 12th April 2026, our school had the great honor of hosting the former Lam Neten of Trongsa, along with a group of respected monks, who presided over our Annual Rimdro Ceremony and the consecration of our newly constructed ECCD building.

The ceremony was a deeply spiritual occasion, believed to purify negativities and bring harmony, protection, and well-being to our entire school community. Adding to the significance of the day, the former Lam Neten also presented khadar to our newly elected student leaders.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this special event. A sincere thank you to our dedicated staff for their tireless efforts and students
whose involvement made the day even more meaningful.

The school administration deeply appreciates all who helped make this Rimdro a truly memorable and blessed occasion.

Merger Ceremony of Sherubling High School and Trongsa Primary School into Sherubling Central School

The merger ceremony of Sherubling High School and Trongsa Primary School marked a significant milestone in the journey of education in the community. With this unification, both institutions officially came together to form Sherubling Central School, creating a stronger and more comprehensive learning environment for students of all levels.

The event was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride by students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests. The ceremony highlighted the vision of providing continuous and quality education under one institution, fostering unity, collaboration, and academic excellence.

Cultural performances, speeches, and reflections on the history of both schools added meaning to the occasion. It was not only a formal merging of two schools but also a celebration of shared values, traditions, and a commitment to nurturing future generations.

The establishment of Sherubling Central School symbolizes growth, opportunity, and a brighter future for the students and the community as a whole.

The discussion focused on improving student performance, setting clear targets, reviewing SIP & SPMS indicators, strengthening teaching strategies, promoting reading among teachers, and enhancing leader visibility. The curriculum alignment with Cambridge standards was also highlighted.

Yesterday, on 14th March 2026, we successfully held our first Parent–Teacher Meeting of the year. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our parents and share about the learning journey of our little ones.

We had meaningful conversations about the children’s progress, their classroom experiences, and how we can work together to support their growth and happiness at school. It was truly encouraging to see parents taking time to be part of their child’s learning.

Thank you to all the parents who attended and for your continuous support and cooperation. Together, we can create a positive and nurturing environment for our children to learn and thrive.

Today, our school began this year’s evening prayer by lighting butter lamps, praying for a peaceful and prosperous year ahead.

We hope this prayer gathering helps our learners of the digital age stay connected to our customs, traditions, and the Dharma that we deeply respect. With every prayer offered, we wish for each individual to grow into a kinder soul and work together towards building a better, more harmonious community.

𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲– February 24, 2026

The much-awaited day finally arrived as Trongsa Primary School conducted its Captain Election with great excitement and enthusiasm. This year’s election was even more special as a digital voting system was introduced instead of the traditional paper ballots.

The system was modern, quick, and efficient, with results appearing instantly with just a click on a laptop. Before the voting began, students from Grade IV–VI were guided on how to use the digital voting system and were also reminded about the qualities of a good leader and the importance of making responsible choices.

The entire school community took part in this meaningful event, including the Principal, teachers, and school staff. It was inspiring to see everyone actively participate in this democratic process.

This memorable day not only made the election process innovative and exciting but also helped students understand the importance of voting and choosing responsible leaders. It was truly a valuable and enriching learning experience for everyone at Trongsa Primary School.
