Faculty and Staff Participate in Out of the Box Thinking Training

Faculty and staff of the college participated in an Out of the Box Thinking (OTBT) training programme on 5 June 2026, engaging in an immersive learning experience focused on innovation and creative problem-solving. Facilitated by international innovation coach Naveen Lakkur, the programme introduced practical tools to help participants challenge assumptions, generate fresh ideas, and identify new opportunities. The training also fostered greater awareness of individual thinking styles, strengthening communication, collaboration, and teamwork among participants.

On the occasion of the 23rd Foundation Day of the Royal University of Bhutan, the College of Language and Culture Studies is pleased to publish Volume 4 of our Rigzoed Journal for the year 2026.

All concerned graduates are kindly requested to collect their certificates on or before 30th June 2026 during office hours. Please note that after the mentioned deadline, the college shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, fading of words, deterioration, or any other issues related to the certificates.

CLCS Students Participate in Exchange Programme at Visva-Bharati University

The College of Language and Culture Studies, Royal University of Bhutan, in collaboration with the Department of Indo-Tibetan Studies at Visva-Bharati University, successfully conducted a Student Exchange Programme from 4–16 May 2026 in Santiniketan, India.

The programme provided students with opportunities to attend academic lectures, interact with scholars and faculty members, engage in manuscript and library studies, and gain exposure to Indo-Tibetan, Buddhist, and Himalayan studies. Participants also explored important Tibetan textual collections and took part in cultural activities, heritage visits, and the celebration of the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.

The exchange programme strengthened academic collaboration between the two institutions while enriching students’ academic and cultural perspectives.

CLCS warmly welcomes its Assistant Finance Officer, Mr. Tsheltrim Zangpo, Account Assistant, Ms. Reena Pradhan, and Library Assistant, Mr. Ugyen Phuntsho. May your professional journey at CLCS be a fulfilling one.
