Three interns from the Gedu College of Business Studies - Dawa Zam (3rd year Bachelor of Finance and Economics), and Puja S***a and Pema Tshewang (3rd year Bachelor of Human Capital and Management) completed their six months internship at the Office of the Vice Chancellor (OVC). They were attached with the relevant Departments at the OVC and engaged in all important activities and events organised by the OVC besides their daily work. The Vice Chancellor thanked them for their service and gave them certificates of successful completion of their internship.

All graduates who have registered to attend the 17th Convocation of the Royal University of Bhutan, scheduled for 17 June 2026 at the Royal Institute of Management, Simtokha, are kindly requested to collect their graduation gowns on 15 June 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards at the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Royal University of Bhutan, Thimphu.
A security deposit of Nu. 1,500 is required at the time of gown collection. Of this amount, Nu. 1,200 will be refunded upon return of the gown, while Nu. 300 will be retained for gown usage and upkeep.
All graduates are also required to attend a mandatory dress rehearsal on 16 June 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Multipurpose Hall, Royal Institute of Management, Simtokha.
The Convocation Ceremony will be held in the afternoon. Therefore, you are requested to report to the Royal Institute of Management, Simtokha at 12:30pm on 17 June 2026.
We kindly request all employing agencies to grant necessary leave to graduates to facilitate their participation in the Convocation Ceremony.

The Royal University of Bhutan renamed its former College of Language and Culture Studies as Trongsa College of Heritage and Contemporary Studies during the 23rd Foundation Day.
This July, the college will welcome a new cohort of students into five newly designed undergraduate programmes that respond to emerging societal needs while remaining firmly rooted in Bhutan's rich heritage and culture traditions.

The Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) sign MoU for institutional collaboration during RUBโs 23rd Foundation Day celebrations today. The MoU was signed by RUB Vice Chancellor, Chewang Rinzin, and NUS President, Professor Tan Eng Chye.
