DrukREN is looking for a talented young female graduate who will be responsible for providing assistance in configuration of network devices and servers, implementation of the network monitoring system, network design, preparation of technical specifications, technical evaluation, implementation of new network services and troubleshooting network and its services to DrukREN member institution.

DrukREN is the National Research & Education Network (NREN) of Bhutan, connecting institutes for science, research and higher education, schools and hospitals. DrukREN is connected to Trans-Eurasia Information Network (TEIN) and Global Research & Education Network through NKN, India.

New members include Haa Hospital, National Centre Reverine and Lake Fisheries, Gongzim Ugyen Dorji School, Tshaphel Lower Secondary School, Katsho Lower Secondary School and Chundu Higher Secondary School.

DrukREN connects Gedu Higher Secondary School and Darla Middle Secondary School. The Department of Information Technology & Telecom, Royal Government of Bhutan is implementing Digital Drukyul flagship project to connect all the schools with high speed Internet.

The Department of Information Technology and Telecom (DITT) in collaboration with Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) is hosting DrukREN Technical workshop on "Campus Network Routing and Switching”, “Network Monitoring and Management” and “Linux Security & Malware Forensics” to address the capacity development needs of the research & education community in the country.
