Five entrepreneurs from the compendium of investment-ready projects under the Department of Industry were given the opportunity to pitch their businesses for foreign direct investment (FDI) to a 15-member business delegation led by Mr. Christian Stadil, Honorary Consul of Bhutan in Denmark.
The presentations showcased diverse sectors, including agriculture, mindfulness experiences, energy, and other innovative products. Two outstanding entrepreneurs were awarded cash prizes of USD 2,000 each.
The entire programme has been recorded and will be screened in Denmark for possible collaboration and investments.

Exactly one month after the successful conclusion of the ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ, the Department of Industry convened a post-engagement meeting with local project proponents. The session provided an opportunity to debrief, review progress, and discuss areas where further support may be required.
The Department remains committed to supporting and facilitating local project proponents at every step of their investment journey, ensuring that promising ideas continue to move forward toward successful implementation.

Mr. Mani Pradhan, who presented his project during the Summit held on February 12โ13, 2026, in Thimphu, has signed an MoU with a foreign investor at the Royal Bhutanese Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand, marking another step forward in turning ideas into action.
This reflects the growing confidence and interest in Bhutan as a destination for investment and collaboration.
