A Professional Development (PD) Programme on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) was conducted today, facilitated by Mr. Nima Wangdi. The session provided teachers with valuable knowledge and practical insights to support students’ safety, well-being, healthy relationships, and responsible decision-making.

EARTHQUAKE MOCK DRILL DAY AND INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY

Our School observed Earthquake Mock Drill Day and the International Day of Peace on 29th September with active participation from students and staff.
The earthquake mock drill focused on strengthening students’ awareness and preparedness for emergencies, helping them practise safe responses during an earthquake and reinforcing the importance of “Safety through Preparedness: Building a Culture of Resilience."
The observance of the International Day of Peace also provided an opportunity to promote the values of peace, harmony, kindness, and mutual respect among our school community. 🕊️
Together, we continue to build a safe, resilient, and peaceful school environment.

Class IV takes the stage: A Story of Love, Loss and Unbreakable Bonds.

Through their heartfelt performance, the students conveyed a powerful message about love, family, loss, resilience, and the unbreakable bond between a mother and her child. Their expressive acting and teamwork touched the hearts of the audience and made the performance a memorable one.

National Reading Week

National Reading Week was successfully observed from 8th to 16th September 2026, coinciding with International Literacy Day on 8th September. The week-long celebration aimed to promote a love for reading, strengthen language and literacy skills, and encourage students to engage actively with books and learning.

A variety of engaging activities and competitions were conducted throughout the week, including:
1. English Word Champion Competition
2. Offline Quiz Competition
3. Online Quiz Competition
4. English Vocabulary Contest
5. Dzongkha Vocabulary Contest
6. Poem Recitation Competition
7. Mass Reading

The celebration concluded with the distribution of prizes and certificates to recognize and appreciate the enthusiastic participation and achievements of our students.

The successful observance of National Reading Week provided our students with meaningful opportunities to read, learn, compete, express themselves, and develop a greater appreciation for the joy and power of reading.

Let us continue to nurture a culture of reading and make every day a reading day! 📚
