A Teacher's Silent Lesson!

Once a boy with reckless dreams,
Lost in a haze, or so it seems,
School days blurred by choices made,
A fleeting thrill, a costly trade.

The substances called, he couldn’t resist,
But now they haunt in ways unmissed.
His body weak, his spirit torn,
A man remade, but deeply worn.

No friends remain, no wealth to show,
A bankrupt heart where shadows grow.
Yet in the classroom, he wears a mask,
Teaching children, his noble task.

A Teacher's Silent Lesson.

He warns them softly, voices sincere,
Of paths that leads to pain and fear.
“Your choices shape the life you’ll see;
Be wiser children, don’t be me.

Through the hidden tears may stain the night,
He strives to guide them toward the light.
For in their joy, he finds his peace.
A hope that heals, though scars don’t cease.
