INNO Care Festival, 2026
The one-day event, organized by fourth-year nursing students of the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, was held under the theme โCaring with Purpose: Innovating Today, Leading Tomorrow.โ The festival aimed to encourage nursing and public health students to think creatively and explore roles beyond traditional bedside care.
Participants from Royal Thimphu College, Apollo Bhutan Institute of Nursing, and Aurora Academy of Health Sciences joined students from the host institution in a series of learning-based competitions.
The festival featured three main events. Nurvation Conquest, an inter-college quiz competition, tested studentsโ nursing knowledge and strategic thinking. Nursing Care Innovations allowed teams to dramatize clinical challenges and present innovative nursing solutions. Meanwhile, C2C โ Create to Care, showcased creative models offering practical solutions to healthcare and departmental problems.
The festival also encouraged participation from different departments within the host college; BCC (Bachelors in clinical counselling), EMR (Emergency Medical Responder), Foundation course and team from General Nursing & Midwifery - promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing. The event drew inspiration from the Gedu Business Festival.
