Our school would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Bikash Gurung, proprietor of Bubu Angu General Store, Rangjung for his generous sponsoring of class teachers’ chairs for every classroom on very special occasion "TEACHERS DAY"

The Inter-House Dzongkha Spelling Competition was conducted on 4th May 2026.

The competition provided a valuable platform for students to improve their spelling accuracy, enrich their Dzongkha vocabulary, and build confidence in using the national language. It also helped strengthen their interest and appreciation for Dzongkha.

We appreciate all the participants for their enthusiastic involvement and commend the efforts of everyone who made the event a success.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Chung House and Seng House for emerging as the winners, and to Druk House for securing the position of First Runner-up in the Inter-House English Spelling Competition held on April 28, 2026.

Certificates were awarded to the winning team members in recognition of their hard work, spelling accuracy, and confidence. Your dedication and enthusiasm made the competition both exciting and meaningful.

Well done to all participants for showcasing excellent effort and sportsmanship.

Our school joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day and the birth anniversary of the Late Third Druk Gyalpo, His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, on 2nd May with great respect and gratitude.

The day began with all staff visiting Rangjung Woesel Choelling Goenpa to receive blessings. This was followed by a lively celebration at school, thoughtfully coordinated by our students and their parents. Students presented beautiful dances, engaged teachers in fun-filled activities, and expressed their heartfelt appreciation through gifts while the parents served sumptuous potluck lunch and offered gifts to the teachers and staff as well.

We were honored to have the Gewog Mangmi as our Chief Guest for the occasion, and we extend our gratitude to the Gewog Administration for sponsoring cakes for our students.

To conclude the day, the men staff, along with a team from Rangjung Hospital, enjoyed a friendly game of khuru. We would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Bikash, proprietor of BAGS, for generously sponsoring chairs for the teachers and dinner for the school staff and khuru players.

It was truly a meaningful and memorable day celebrating the noble role of teachers and honoring the legacy of our beloved King.

Our school held a warm farewell gathering to bid goodbye to Mrs. Tshering Yangzom.

We thank her for her dedicated service, commitment, and the positive impact she has made on our students and school community. Her hard work, care, and guidance will always be remembered.

On behalf of the entire school, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and wish her good health, happiness, and success in her new journey. She will always remain a valued part of our school family.

Upper Primary (Classes IV–VI) Inter-House English Spelling Competition was conducted on 28th of April.

The event aimed to improve spelling accuracy, enhance vocabulary, build confidence and public speaking skills, and promote interest in language learning. Students from all houses participated with great enthusiasm and showcased impressive spelling abilities and confidence on stage.

Such activities continue to support our learners in developing strong language skills while encouraging healthy competition and a love for learning.

Following the successful participation in the TRC Primary School Level Football Competition and both the boys and girls team emerging as winner amongst the seven participating schools, our school held a small felicitation this morning to honor our young players.

Certificates were awarded to all participants, both boys and girls, in recognition of their teamwork, and sportsmanship. The school also proudly presented the winning trophies to both teams, which have now been placed in the school office as a symbol of their outstanding achievement.

We congratulate our students once again for making the school proud and thank everyone who supported the event.

~~April 24-26/04/2026~~

The Primary School Level TRC Football tournament was conducted for three days at Changmey Primary School, bringing together seven schools: Rangjung PS, Saling PS, Galing PS, Changmey PS, Chaling PS, Bartsam PS, and Bidung LSS.

The tournament was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship as young players showcased their talents on the field. We are proud to share that Rangjung Primary School emerged victorious in both the boys’ and girls’ categories.

Congratulations to all the participating schools for their spirited participation, and a special appreciation to our students for their outstanding performance. Events like these continue to strengthen unity, confidence, and healthy competition among our young learners.

On the sacred occasion of Zhabdrung Kuchoe, our school joins the nation in paying heartfelt tribute to Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, the unifier of Bhutan.

We honor his great vision, wisdom, and lasting contributions in shaping our country’s identity, culture, and values. May this auspicious day inspire our students to uphold unity, respect, and dedication in their daily lives.
