🌻 Changing the Narrative. Starting the Conversation. Spreading Hope.
Gongthung MSS observed World Su***de Prevention Day 2026 with the theme “Changing the Narrative on Su***de” and the call to action “Start the Conversation.”
Through mindfulness, awareness, reflection and positive messages, we came together to remind one another that every life matters, every voice deserves to be heard, and no one has to face difficult times alone. 💛
Listen. Care. Reach out. Start the conversation. 🌻

Yesterday, Gongthung Middle Secondary School hosted a captivating Declamation Programme themed “From Page to Stage: Characters Come Alive.” Students brought characters and stories to life through confident voices, expressive delivery, and powerful stage presence. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to build confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and showcase their creativity beyond the pages of a book.

The programme provided students with a wonderful platform to step beyond the pages of their books, bring characters and stories to life, and showcase their confidence, expression, creativity, and public speaking skills.

It was truly an engaging and enriching afternoon filled with talent, enthusiasm, and the magic of storytelling.

Reading Week 2026 📚📖

A beautiful beginning to Reading Week at Gongthung Middle Secondary School with students and staff coming together to celebrate the joy and importance of reading. The hall was filled with young minds immersed in books, creating a peaceful atmosphere of learning, reflection, and imagination.

May this week inspire our students to read more, think deeper, and discover new worlds through the pages of books. Let every page turn into a new idea, every story into a lesson, and every book into a lifelong companion.
