Today, Jampeling Central School hosted a spirited tea session to honor our teachers, regional games players, and cultural dancers—true champions who have not only played but conquered hearts at the regional level. Their victories radiate pride, while our dancers continue to elevate the grandeur of traditional art, keeping alive the rhythm of our heritage.

This was more than tea and snacks—it was a resplendent gesture of appreciation for the relentless hard work and dedication that uplift our school’s name to dazzling heights. We extend heartfelt thanks to SSI, our cultural coordinator, and all supporters whose unwavering commitment fuels Jampeling’s rising legacy.

Today, Jampeling Central School had the distinct honor of welcoming Honorable Dasho Dzongda of Trashigang Dzongkhag, who graciously awarded His Majesty’s Certificate for Academic Excellence, 2025. This prestigious recognition stands as a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, inspiring them to strive for greater heights in their academic journey.

In his address, Dasho encouraged our young learners to study wisely and purposefully, reminding them that true education shapes not only knowledge but also character. He emphasized that every student must aspire to become a fruitful citizen of Bhutan, contributing meaningfully to the nation’s progress and well‑being.

Dasho further highlighted Bhutan’s Uninterrupted Sovereignty, a legacy safeguarded by our monarchs and forefathers. He reminded us that the values of honesty, sincerity, and loyalty are deeply rooted in our Bhutanese identity, and it is our collective responsibility to preserve and uphold them. May this occasion inspire our students to carry forward these timeless virtues with pride and dedication.

Today, JCS observed the National Earthquake Mock Drill Day 2026 under the theme “Resilience Starts at Home.” The program highlighted the importance of preparedness, awareness, and community cooperation in building resilience against natural disasters.

This date holds special significance, as Bhutan experienced a heavy earthquake on 21 September 2009 in Mongar–Narang, reminding us of the urgent need to stay vigilant and prepared.

Through active participation, our students and staff reaffirmed their commitment to safety and resilience — beginning from our homes and extending to the wider community.
