Today, JCS joyfully observed the International Day of Play with vibrant participation from both students and staff. The campus came alive with diverse activities — from energetic games like footsal, volleyball, basketball, and khuru, to mindful practices such as aerobic exercises and yoga. Indoor arenas buzzed with friendly matches of chess, table tennis, and badminton, showcasing the spirit of unity and harmony.

This celebration was more than just play; it was a heartfelt reminder that peace flourishes when communities come together in cooperation, respect, and joy. May the spirit of peace continue to guide our steps, both within and beyond the school grounds.

Three-Day Coding Workshop at Jampeling CS

With the conclusion of the three-day TRE Validation Programme today, yet another three-day Coding Workshop for primary school teachers from Trashigang and Trashiyangtse began at the school.

There are around 90 participants from these two eastern dzongkhags and three facilitators.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲

Coinciding with the global observance of World Environment Day, JCS organized a meaningful cleaning campaign after class today. Students and staff joined hands to restore freshness and order to our campus and road, embodying the spirit of responsibility and care for our surroundings. This collective effort enhanced the beauty and reinforced our commitment to nurturing a cleaner, greener and more sustainable world.

Jampeling Central School welcomed back two of our students who attended the National Scout Jamboree at the National Scout Centre, Paro. During the morning assembly, Mrs. Tshering Yangzom of Class IXA shared their inspiring event report, highlighting the spirit of scouting, teamwork, and national unity.

In addition, our School Health In‑Charge, Mrs. Pema Yangzom, reminded everyone to remain vigilant against seasonal flu and water‑borne diseases. Her timely advice emphasized the importance of healthy practices, safe drinking water, and preventive care to ensure the well‑being of our school community.

𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗦

On the first day, the TRE validation was carried out with the DEOs and principals of Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag and Mongar Dzongkhag.

On the second day, the validation was conducted for Trashigang Dzongkhag, with the largest number of participants, approximately 30.

With the TRE validation for Lhuentse Dzongkhag and Pema Gatshel Dzongkhag scheduled for tomorrow, the three-day validation programme initiated by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development will conclude.
