Professional Development on DIBELS
On 10th June, right after school hours, Mrs. Nidup Zangmo conducted a Professional Development for all teachers on DIBELS. The session focused on the implementation of a structured reading programme for students in Classes IV to VI. Teachers were introduced to effective reading assessment strategies and evidence-based practices to support the development of students' reading fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills.
The session also included hands-on activities and practical demonstrations, allowing teachers to actively engage in the DIBELS assessment process. These activities helped teachers gain a clearer understanding of how DIBELS is administered, scored, and used to monitor students' reading progress. It enhanced teachers' confidence and preparedness in implementing the programme effectively in the classrooms.

Our school enthusiastically celebrated International Day of Play with the theme “Protect Play, Protect Childhood” highlighting the importance of play in every child's growth, learning, and well-being.
The event was organized by the Games Committee and involved students from ECCD and Lower Primary classes, who actively participated in a variety of exciting and engaging games. The activities provided opportunities for children to learn through play, build friendships, develop teamwork, improve motor skills, and boost their confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
The school basketball court came alive with laughter, energy, and excitement as students enjoyed the different games. The event served as a reminder that play is not only a source of joy but also an essential part of a child's holistic development.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Games Committee for sponsoring the refreshments for all and prizes for the students.
Together, let us continue to encourage children to choose play every day and nurture happy, healthy, and active learners.
