TPS family celebrated Menstrual Hygiene Day with the theme “Together for a Period-Friendly World.”

The program began with an informative talk delivered by the Health Incharge, who highlighted the importance of menstrual hygiene and awareness. This was followed by an engaging dramatization and a series of educational videos, which helped convey the message in an interactive and impactful manner.

As part of the initiative, the team also distributed sanitary pads to all female staff members and students, ensuring practical support alongside awareness.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Health Incharge for organizing this meaningful program and making it a successful and enriching experience for everyone involved.

The school 🏫 holds a special program every Tuesday of the third week of each month, known as the Student Resilience Development Program (SRDP). This program is designed to help students cultivate resilience, an essential skill that empowers them to face challenges, adapt to change, and thrive in different aspects of life.

As part of SRDP, teachers take the time to speak with students, providing guidance and practical strategies to strengthen their resilience. They share tips and techniques that students can implement in their daily lives, helping them build mental, emotional, and social strength.

Today, the principal addressed the entire program, giving an overview of the SRDP and emphasizing its importance in the students’ personal growth. The principal highlighted the key areas that students should focus on and encouraged them to actively practice resilience-building strategies in their everyday life.
We are grateful to our principal for this insightful and inspiring talk, which serves as a valuable reminder of the role resilience plays in shaping a successful and balanced life.

The occasion was marked by the offering of khadars as a symbol of goodwill and respect, the lighting of butter lamps to invoke blessings and wisdom, and the performance of Tashi Tsekpa, celebrating harmony and good fortune.

The official handing-taking ceremony was also conducted in the presence of SMT members and the entire staff, signifying a smooth and respectful transition of leadership. It was a meaningful and memorable event that reflected the unity, culture, and shared aspirations of the TPS family.

A big Applause to coordinator and house-masters

𝐌𝐫.𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐬𝐡𝐨, a young and energetic teacher, has successfully completed a five-day BULT (Basic Unit Leader Training) course conducted by the Dzongkhag Scout Association. His participation in this training reflects his commitment to personal growth, leadership development, and service to the school and community.

The school would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sangay Phuntsho, the Wellbeing Focal Person, for successfully conducting the SBIP session on Psychological First Aid for all staff members. The session was both timely and meaningful, equipping teachers with essential knowledge and practical skills to support students’ emotional and mental well-being.

This initiative served as an important reminder for all staff to remain vigilant, empathetic, and proactive in identifying and addressing the needs of students. It strengthened the collective responsibility of teachers to act as guides and caregivers, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing school environment for every learner.
