We went to Gyalsay Dumra for a nature walk where children explored and observed nature, especially the beautiful flowers around them. They learned to notice different colors, shapes and smells of flowers, which helped develop their observation skills and curiosity. Walking in nature supported their physical development, while exploring together encouraged social interaction. Being surrounded by nature made them feel calm and happy, supporting their emotional well-being and helping them understand the importance of caring for and protecting plants and the environment.

We encourage children to identify safety in a simple and caring way so they can understand and follow it in their daily life. We guide them on how to stay safe while playing, crossing the road and choosing what things are safe and unsafe to play with.
Through daily practice and discussion, children learn to observe their surroundings, make safe choices and follow simple safety rules. This helps them build awareness, confidence and responsibility for their own well-being.

Our centre would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Myra Wangchuk’s mother for her generous contribution of flower pots to our ECCD centre. This is the second time she has supported us, even though her daughter graduated from our centre last year.
She has kindly donated 24 flower pots filled with beautiful flowers. These will not only beautify our centre but also enrich children’s daily learning experiences by creating a more vibrant and engaging environment.
Once again, the Trong ECCD family is deeply grateful for your kindness and continued support. Your generosity will always remain in our hearts and you will forever be a valued part of our ECCD family.
Thank you so much🙏🙏🙏

On 28th April, we took the children to Trong Heritage to explore and feel the textures of a traditional house, helping them connect with their cultural roots. They observed the unique features of Bhutanese architecture along the way and later expressed what they saw through drawing activities. This experience not only encouraged creativity and observation but also helped children appreciate and understand their culture through hands-on learning.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Group One parents for coming together and putting in strong effort to bring planks and CGI sheets from the old ECCD centre to the new centre. Even on the important day of Zhabdrung Kuchoe, you showed true commitment, unity and responsibility toward the centre.
We also sincerely thank Zhemgang Central School and Tandin Namsel's dad for providing vehicle transportation. Your support played a crucial role in making this work successful.
Such dedication and teamwork clearly show that when we stand together, we can achieve great things for our children and the centre. Thank you all once again for your strong support.

Encouraging children to play the "Flip the Bottle” game as it supports their overall development in a fun and active way. This game helps improve their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they try to flip and land the bottle properly. It also builds focus and patience, as children take turns and wait for their chance to play.
Playing together promotes social skills, such as sharing, cooperation and respecting rules. Children learn to handle winning and losing, which supports their emotional development and helps them manage feelings in a positive way. In addition, the game encourages active participation and teamwork, making children more confident and engaged.

Playing with blocks is very important for young children because it supports their overall development in a fun and engaging way. It helps improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination as children grasp, stack and balance blocks. Block play also strengthens cognitive skills by encouraging problem-solving, thinking and understanding concepts like size, shape and balance. At the same time, it promotes creativity and imagination as children build different structures using their ideas. When children play together, they develop social skills such as sharing, taking turns and communicating with others. It also supports language development as children talk about their creations and express their thoughts

Sand play is very important for young children as it supports their overall development in many ways. It helps develop fine motor skills as children scoop, pour and build using sand. It also enhances creativity and imagination when they create shapes, structures and pretend play scenarios.
Through sand play, children explore different textures, which builds their sensory awareness. It also supports social skills as children play together, share materials and communicate with their friends. Additionally, sand play encourages problem-solving and thinking skills as children figure out how to build, balance and create different things.
