🎓 End of Academic Year 2025 🎓

The Academic Year 2025 concluded successfully with the distribution of certificates to the toppers and office bearers, recognizing their outstanding achievements and dedicated service.

School also acknowledged the Voluntary service of two Wardens and two Matrons during the Temporary Hostel with the certificates and rewarded with gifts.

On this occasion, the Principal addressed the students and parents, highlighting important safety measures to be followed during the vacation and encouraging everyone to make productive and responsible use of their time.

The 118th National Day 2025 was celebrated at our school.The occasion was graced by the presence of our Dasho Drungpa as the Chief Guest, along with sector heads, Langchenphu Gup and Gewog staff, staff members, and Jomotshangkha community. The gathering reflected a strong sense of unity and shared responsibility, as participants came together to honor the rich history of our nation and the visionary leadership of our beloved Kings.

We would like to sincerely thank Honourable Dasho Drungpa for arranging the sponsor for the lottery prizes. The prizes were as follows:

First Prize : 32" TV Screen. (Kezang Nidup Tshongkhang , Samdrup Jongkhar).

Second Prize: Microwave Oven

In recognition of their unwavering dedication and loyal service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum, the Hon’ble Dasho Dzongda conferred the Civil Service Awards to deserving civil servants during a solemn ceremony held at the Dzongkhag.

The Civil Service Award is a prestigious national honour instituted to acknowledge civil servants who have rendered exemplary service with integrity, commitment, and professionalism in service to the nation and its people. These awards reflect years of selfless contribution toward strengthening public service delivery and upholding the values of good governance.

Temporary Hostel for Board Exam–Appearing Students

The School Administration, after detailed consultation with the staff, followed by discussions with students and finally with parents, has reached a consensus to arrange a temporary hostel facility in the school campus till their exam completes.This arrangement is for the students of Classes VI, VIII, and X who are appearing for their board examinations. During their stay, students will be under the supervision and guidance of all staff members.

We are pleased to share that this initiative has received overwhelming support from parents and guardians.

The School Administration extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all staff members, students, parents, and guardians for their cooperation and encouragement in making this noble initiative possible. We are confident that this step will greatly benefit our students during this important phase of their academic journey.

🎉 Coding Competition under the Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) 🎉

The Coding Competition under the Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) was held on 2nd November 2025, featuring enthusiastic participation from 15 schools in the Primary Category and 10 schools in the Secondary Category.

We are proud to share that our school was shortlisted in both categories and achieved an outstanding milestone by securing the Second Position in the Secondary Category, along with a cash prize of Nu. 20,000/-.
Honourable Dasho Drungpa awarded the certificates and congratulated entire team to work even harder.

The Coding Competition under the Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) was held on 2nd November 2025, with participation from 15 schools across the country in the Primary Category and 10 schools in the Secondary Category.Our school was short listed in both the Categories.

We are delighted to share that our school secured the Second Position in the Secondary Category, earning a reward amount of Nu. 20,000/-.

Information to all the Parents and Guardians

We would like to inform all the Dzongkhags/Thromdes that the application window for PP admission for the year 2026 will be opened on 7th November 2025 as per the attached timeline.

The admission application should be conducted online through the Education Management Information System version 3: https://portal.education.gov.bt

The minimum age requirement for PP admission is 5 years old as of or before 1st March 2026.

Jomotsangkha MSS family had the privilege to receive the Honourable Secretary, MoESD to our school on the afternoon of 2nd November, 2025.

Dasho Secretary was accompanied by the Planning Officer, MoESD, CDEO, PDEO and the Dy.CDEO of Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag.

Dasho interacted with all the faculty members and briefed on the recent education reforms and the newly revised Education Policy. Dasho also encouraged and motivated everyone to work hard and serve the Tsa-Wa-Sum with dedication and integrity.
