Blending fashion with environmental awareness, the participants beautifully showcased that creativity can turn waste into wonder. A truly inspiring celebration of confidence, sustainability, and young imagination.

With profound respect and sincere gratitude, the teachers and students of our school extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Central Monastic Body for 25 years of invaluable blessings, prayers, and spiritual guidance. The day was truly marked with blessings, filling our school community with peace, joy, and spiritual inspiration. We feel deeply honoured and blessed by the continued support and wisdom. ✨ Miss UA & Little Princess 2026 ✨

Today’s Miss UA & Little Princess event was a joyful celebration of confidence, talent, creativity, and individuality. The participants beautifully showcased their elegance, stage presence, and self-confidence, making the program memorable and inspiring for everyone present.

Such events are conducted to encourage students to build confidence, develop communication skills, overcome stage fear, and explore their hidden talents while promoting creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.

With profound reverence and heartfelt gratitude, the Ugyen Academy family commemorated Teachers’ Day, a day made even more significant as it coincided with the birth anniversary of our beloved 3rd Druk Gyalpo. This meaningful convergence of occasions filled the day with reflection, pride, and deep appreciation for the noble calling of educators and the visionary leadership that has shaped our nation.

The celebration was further enriched by the gracious presence of the first batch of students from 2002–2003. Their return evoked a sense of nostalgia and pride, reminding us of the enduring legacy and strong foundation upon which our institution stands.

It was truly a memorable and emotional moment for the entire Ugyen Academy family to come together, honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring the future with unity and gratitude.

We were honoured to welcome our esteemed Dasho Proprietor today, whose gracious presence made the occasion truly significant. His Excellency presented badges to our student leaders, recognising their dedication and leadership.

The ceremony reflected the values of responsibility, integrity, and service within our school community. We extend our sincere appreciation for His Excellency’s continued support and encouragement.

We had the distinct honour of hosting Dasho Namgay R. Dorji, Honourable National Council Member, at our school today.

During his visit, Dasho delivered a highly insightful and impactful address, creating awareness among our youth on the serious consequences of substance abuse and the growing prevalence of smoking and other harmful practices. The session emphasized the importance of exercising sound judgment and leading healthy, disciplined, and mindful lives.

We would like to convey our deepest appreciation to Dasho for graciously dedicating his time to inspire and guide our students towards becoming responsible and conscientious citizens.

From Classroom to Championship

We take great pride in congratulating our student, Mr. Yoezer Dorji Wangchuck of Class 12 Commerce, on his selection to participate in the 7th Gyaltsen Jigme Namgyel National Open Championship organized by the Bhutan Tennis Federation.
