🌍 Ugyen Academy Hosts Its First-Ever Model United Nations β€” UAMUN 2026 πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³

We are thrilled to announce the successful hosting of the Ugyen Academy Model United Nations Special Multilateralism Session, held on Monday, 14 September 2026 at Ugyen Academy in Punakha, Bhutan!
Centering on the theme "Many Voices, One Table: The Power of Multilateralism," student delegates and esteemed guests gathered to deliberate on the critical UNHRC agenda: "Protecting Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms During Armed Conflicts."
From the vibrant Nations Parade to constructive diplomacy in action, our young leaders demonstrated incredible critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership to foster cross-cultural dialogue and compromise.

β€œSwim Beyond Limits” β€” Strength β€’ Speed β€’ Spirit

Ugyen Academy successfully hosted its Annual Swimming Gala 2026 on 9 September 2026, bringing together students, guests, teachers, parents, and the UA family for a vibrant celebration of swimming, sportsmanship, and determination.

The event was graced by the Principal of Punakha Central School as the Chief Guest, along with the Vice Principals of Khuruthang Middle Secondary School and Punakha Central School, members of the Parent Support Group, and other distinguished guests.

A special highlight was the presence of Sangay Tenzin, former Ugyen Academy student and Olympian, whose inspiring journey and achievements continue to motivate our young swimmers.

Students from Classes VII–XII competed enthusiastically in Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Medley, and Relay events, showcasing strength, speed, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, confidence, and true sporting spirit.
