Thromde School Sport Meet 2026

Yonten Kuenjung Academy proudly secured the Overall Third Position in the Primary Category at the Thromde School Sport Meet 2026.

Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding performances, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the meet.

The school extends heartfelt appreciation to the Principal, Sports Coordinator, teachers, parents, and all supporting officials for their continuous guidance and encouragement.

We also thank Thromde Education and the organizing team for conducting a successful and inclusive sporting event.

Voices of culture, confidence, and creativity filled the air as our Class IV and V students from Group A and Group B showcased their talents in the Tshangmo Competition. 🌸🎤

Fire 🔥 awareness Program

Today, a fire awareness program was conducted by the Disaster Coordinator to create awareness among students and staff about fire safety measures and emergency response procedures. The session highlighted the importance of staying calm during emergencies, using fire safety equipment properly, and following evacuation procedures to ensure everyone’s safety.

We would also like to sincerely thank Madam Tashi Wangmo for conducting the awareness program and sharing valuable information on fire safety with everyone.

A heartfelt thank you to our superheroes for always working hard to keep everyone safe. 🚒🙏

Block test I

After a week-long Block Test 1, our students of Classes IV and V gave their very best. Today, we proudly awarded khadar and certificates to all Block Test awardees and badges to the toppers of Classes IV and V by our school staff secretary.

On this special day, we also celebrate the birth anniversary of His Majesty Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, the Father of Modern Bhutan 🇧🇹. In honor of his vision in introducing modern education, this day is observed as Teachers’ Day.

PD on Phonics for parents’ was more than a training—it was a beautiful bridge between home and school, where parents discovered joyful and practical ways to support their child’s reading journey. Each sound explored was a step closer to confidence, fluency, and love for learning. 📖✨

Our respected Principal Sir warmly emphasized the power of Phonics, reminding everyone that strong readers are built through strong foundations—and those foundations begin with sound awareness at home.
