Today, in honor of Menstrual Hygiene Day, our school united to raise awareness and foster dignity and support for menstrual health. Through engaging speeches, informative sessions, and thoughtful gestures from male staff and boys towards their female colleagues and fellow students, we reinforced the message that menstruation is not a taboo topic. Instead, it is a shared responsibility that calls for understanding, respect, and support for one another.

On the joyous occasion of the birth anniversary of His Majesty the Third King, the Father of Modern Bhutan, which is also celebrated as Teachers’ Day, the day was marked with great enthusiasm and gratitude.

The program was beautifully organized by the students, who expressed their appreciation through speeches, songs, dances, and fun activities.

Teachers were honored for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to shaping young minds. The celebration created a warm and joyful atmosphere, strengthening the bond between teachers and students.

It was a memorable day filled with respect, laughter, and heartfelt appreciation.

We conducted the School Based Parenting Education and Awareness- “Helping Adolescents Thrive” program. During this program we discussed the important role parents play in educating their children.

𝐀 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨 𝐃𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐚 - empowering our students to become “10x learners” of the future.

We were deeply honoured to receive Dasho Dzongda at our school yesterday. Dasho interacted with all students and staff, sharing valuable insights on the proper use of time, being responsible individuals, and the importance of cultivating a strong reading culture and the habit of journaling.

Dasho also highlighted the wise use of technology and AI, the importance of upholding Bhutanese Culture, and raised awareness on substance abuse.

As a strong encouragement to our learners, Dasho Dzongda generously pledged a cash prize of Nu. 20,000 for students who excel in the Board Examinations (Classes VI, VIII & X). Dasho further inspired us to strive towards producing “10x students” who are capable, disciplined, and future-ready.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the inspiring visit and continued support towards our school’s growth and excellence.

𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐈 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭–𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

The Term I Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully conducted in the school with the active participation of parents, teachers, and the school management. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between the school and parents in supporting students’ academic progress and overall development.

During the meeting, parents were briefed on the school’s academic programs, expectations, and the importance of their involvement in their children’s learning. Class teachers interacted with parents individually to discuss students’ academic performance, behaviour, strengths, and areas that need improvement.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for parents to share their views and suggestions for the betterment of the school. Overall, the PTM helped foster better communication and cooperation between teachers and parents to ensure the holistic development of students.

Our school successfully conducted the Annual School Rimdro, a sacred ceremony performed to offer prayers for peace, harmony, good health, and prosperity for the school, students, staff, and the entire community.

The Rimdro was attended by students, parents, staff, and well-wishers, whose presence made the ceremony meaningful and spiritually enriching. Such religious events help strengthen positive values, unity, and cultural traditions within the school community.
