Two-Day Educational & Student Exchange Programme for Mid-Term Toppers | 11–12 September 2026.
As a gesture of recognition and encouragement for academic excellence, the Mid-Term Toppers of Pling Rigsar Higher Secondary School were given the opportunity to participate in a two-day Educational and Student Exchange Programme in Paro.
The programme commenced with an early morning departure from the school, followed by enriching cultural and educational visits to Ta Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang. These visits provided the students with a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding and appreciation of Bhutan’s rich history, culture, and spiritual heritage.
The students also had the privilege of visiting Paro International Airport, where they gained first-hand exposure to airport operations and learned more about the functioning of one of Bhutan’s most significant aviation gateways.
A major highlight of the programme was the Student Exchange Programme hosted by Drukgyel School. Through meaningful interactions and exchange activities, our Mid-Term Toppers had the opportunity to engage with their peers, share ideas and experiences, build new friendships, and develop greater confidence. The programme provided a meaningful platform for students to appreciate the importance of learning, collaboration, and personal growth beyond the conventional classroom.
The second day continued with further educational exposure before the students embarked on their return journey, bringing the enriching two-day programme to a successful close.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Drukgyel School, our gracious host, for the warm hospitality, thoughtful arrangements, and unwavering support extended to our Mid-Term Toppers and es**rt teachers throughout the programme.

This programme was not merely a reward for academic achievement, but a meaningful opportunity for our toppers to explore, learn, connect, and grow through experiences beyond the classroom. We hope that this enriching experience will continue to inspire them to pursue excellence, embrace new opportunities, and strive for even greater achievements in the future.
