𝟑𝐫𝐝-𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

Two groups of 3rd-year nursing students have commenced their six-week clinical posting at Samtse General Hospital and Mongar Regional Referral Hospital (Mongar ERRH).

As part of the commencement of their clinical placement, orientation sessions were conducted at both hospitals by the Chief Nursing Officer, ward in-charges, and Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The sessions introduced students to the hospital environment, clinical departments and areas, institutional policies and procedures, and the expectations governing their clinical placement.

In just a few years, the institute has grown tremendously, achieving remarkable milestones and shaping the future of healthcare system in bhutan. It's truly inspiring to see how far Arura has come. Sita Maya Ghalley has been serving as a gardener at our institute for the past six years. Soft-spoken and humble, she rarely seeks the spotlight, but pours her heart into every task she undertakes.

A single mother of five, everyone who knows her can attest to her unwavering commitment to her children and her tireless efforts to provide them with a quality education. We learned that her eldest daughter, who had been working as a salesgirl to support herself, aspired to pursue her dream of studying nursing. Moved by her determination and potential, we were happy to offer her a Need-Based Scholarship—an opportunity to pursue her passion without letting financial hardship stand in her way.

As the eldest daughter in her family, her journey will carry a significance far beyond her own dreams. Once she becomes a nurse, we believe the opportunities and knowledge she gains will positively impact her younger siblings and allow her to give back to the mother who has sacrificed so much for her family, and to the community at large.

This initiative also marks another milestone in our commitment toward employee welfare, ensuring that the dedication and contributions of our valued employees are recognized and rewarded.
