๐ Gomtu Hospital
As today marked the final day of the studentsโ clinical attachment at Gomtu Hospital, the hospital staff kindly organized a potluck farewell for the students. As a gesture of appreciation, each student and the supervisor were presented with pens as farewell gifts.
During the farewell, the GDMO shared her thoughts and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students for their service to the hospital, especially during times of staff shortage. She highlighted how the studentsโ presence and support had been tremendously helpful to the team.
The doctor also commended the students for their hard work, dedication, punctuality, and enthusiasm in learning, even remarking that this batch of students was among the best they had encountered.
Sister Kinley Wangmo also conveyed her appreciation to the students and emphasized the importance of compassion in the healthcare profession, reminding them that kindness and empathy are essential qualities for every health worker.
We would like to sincerely thank Gomtu Hospital and the entire team for their patience and commitment in teaching, mentoring, and guiding our students throughout their clinical attachment. As a token of our gratitude, we have presented the hospital with a set of cutlery and a set of cups for use by admitted patients.
