Every Monday - Driglam Namzha Day

Every Monday, Our school proudly observes Driglam Namzha Day, celebrating the rich traditions and cultural values of Bhutan. On this special day, both students and teachers come together in the morning assembly wearing Kabney and Rachu, symbolizing respect, unity, and our deep connection to Bhutanese etiquette and heritage.

By observing Driglam Namzha Day every week, we continue to nurture a strong sense of cultural awareness and appreciation among our young learners, ensuring that the timeless traditions of Bhutan remain alive for generations to come.

We are delighted to welcome our new staff Lop Chimi Wangmo to the family. A new teacher brings new inspiration, fresh ideas, and a renewed passion for learning, and we are excited to have her join our team.

We believe her dedication and enthusiasm will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and in our school. May her journey with us be filled with success, growth, and joyful learning moments.

Welcoming PP Students- 2026

Considering the auspicious day, the PP Admission Ceremony was formally conducted today to welcome our youngest learners into the school. A total of 27 students were officially enrolled in Class PP this year, marking the beginning of their academic journey. The occasion was graced by parents and teachers, creating a warm and dignified atmosphere to celebrate this important milestone in the lives of our children.

The programme commenced with the lighting of butter lamps, symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment, followed by the offering of Tashi Khadar as a gesture of goodwill and blessings for the bright future of our students. These sacred traditions added spiritual depth to the ceremony, reflecting our shared hopes for the happiness, success, and wellbeing of every child.

In addition, parents attended an informative session on positive parenting styles conducted by the school’s wellbeing focal person. The session highlighted the importance of guidance, care, and collaboration between home and school to support the holistic development of our learners. The ceremony concluded on a hopeful note, strengthening our collective commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and joyful young individuals.

Value Orientation Program- Final Day

The final day of the Value Orientation Program concluded successfully with two enriching sessions.
The session on Personality Development was conducted by Mr. Dendup Chogyel, guiding students to understand self-confidence, positive attitude, and responsible behavior.

The session on Sportsmanship was led by Mr. Dawa Tshering and Mr. Kezang Dorji (SSI), emphasizing teamwork, discipline, fairness, and respect both on and off the field.

With these meaningful engagements, the program came to a graceful close, leaving students inspired to practice good values in their daily lives.

Value Orientation Program Day 2

The second day of the Value Orientation Program was filled with meaningful learning and active participation. The sessions focused on strengthening values, building essential life skills, and promoting healthy habits to support students’ overall growth and development.

1. Digital Citizenship (Facilitated by Ms. Pema Dema
A session on Digital Citizenship emphasized responsible use of technology, online safety, and respectful digital conduct. Students were guided to develop positive and ethical digital practices.

2.10 core of life skills ( Facilitated by Yeshi Yangdon)
The session on the 10 Core Life Skills highlighted essential competencies such as decision-making, communication, problem-solving, and self-awareness. It reinforced the importance of these skills in personal development and responsible living.

3. Health and Hygiene ( Facilitated by Ms. Sonam Tshomo)
The session on Health and Hygiene focused on personal cleanliness, healthy habits, and overall well-being. It underscored the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for a productive and balanced life.

Some goodbyes are harder than others, and today is one of those days. As you prepare to turn the page to a new chapter, our school feels a little quieter, a little heavier, and a lot more emotional. You were never just a colleague walking the corridors or a teacher standing in front of a classroom, you were someone who taught with compassion, led with humility, and touched countless hearts along the way.

Your dedication went far beyond lesson plans and timetables. You taught with your heart, guided with patience, and inspired through your actions. Countless students carry pieces of your kindness, your wisdom, and your encouragement with them.

It is not easy to accept that we will no longer hear your familiar voice, share staffroom conversations, or work side by side as we once did. Yet, while we feel the sadness of your departure, we also feel immense gratitude for the memories we shared, the lessons we learned from you, and the mark you have left on this school and on our hearts.
You may be leaving the school, but we will never forget the memories, bonds, and love you created here.
