This is to inform all our followers, parents, students, alumni, and well-wishers that, henceforth, our school will be using a new page named “Nganglam Lower Secondary School”.

Due to technical issues encountered while changing the name of our old page, “Nganglam Middle Secondary School”, to “Nganglam Lower Secondary School”, we have created a new official page for all future updates, announcements, and school activities.

Our school witnessed a vibrant and exciting session of the Inter-House Tsangmo Competition with the enthusiastic participation of all eight houses. The event was filled with energy, creativity, and healthy competition as students showcased their spontaneous literary talents and quick wit through the beautiful tradition of Tsangmo.
Tsangmo is a traditional folk literary art in which participants express thoughts, emotions, and ideas through poetic and lyrical verses, often in a spontaneous and competitive manner. It reflects creativity, wisdom, and the rich cultural heritage of our country.
All the houses participated with great zeal and vigour, making the event truly memorable. We sincerely acknowledge the efforts and dedication of all the participants and extend our special gratitude to the House Masters for their constant guidance and support in making the programme a grand success. Certificates for participation and winners were given in the assembly. Dungkar House bagged the first prize, followed by Serniya and Meto houses.Congratulations 👏
We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the Literary Committee for organizing the event so wonderfully and promoting our rich literary culture among the students.
Congratulations to all the participants for their remarkable performances and spirit of teamwork!

𝐀 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On her 14th birthday, 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐕𝐈𝐈 𝐁 marked the day in a truly meaningful and thoughtful way by contributing sanitary pads and handwashing soap to the school.

Her kind gesture reflects a strong sense of empathy, care, and social responsibility towards her peers and the school community. Such actions not only support hygiene and well-being but also set a positive example for other students to follow.

The school would like to sincerely appreciate her generosity and thoughtful initiative. May she continue to grow into a compassionate and responsible individual, and may her birthday always be filled with joy, kindness, and purpose

Today, Class IV A proudly celebrated the birthday of our dear student 𝑱𝒂𝒎𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑷𝒆𝒍𝒎𝒐 a truly meaningful and inspiring way. Instead of celebrating only with cakes and sweets, she chose to spread happiness through kindness and generosity.

As part of her special day, she thoughtfully shared:
* 40 pens with her classmates
*5 packets of pencils for PP students
* 19 board markers for teachers
*18 notebooks for students who are unable to afford them
* A Uniball pen for her class teacher

Her thoughtful gesture reflects a caring heart, generosity, and the true spirit of sharing. Such acts of kindness inspire everyone around us and make the celebration even more memorable and meaningful.

We sincerely appreciate Jamyang Sangay Pelmo and her family for this wonderful initiative and for teaching us that birthdays can also be a day of giving and caring for others.

Our school successfully conducted the STEM Learning Fair – 2026 (Term I) with the theme “From Ideas to Working Models.” The event was officially inaugurated by our respected Principal and coordinated by the STEM Committee.
The fair aimed to encourage students and teachers to design and develop innovative working STEM models based on concepts learned in the classroom. It promoted hands-on, inquiry-based learning while enhancing students’ creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Students from Grade IV to VIII enthusiastically participated by presenting impressive working models using locally available and low-cost materials. The exhibition showcased their understanding of scientific concepts through practical and interactive demonstrations.
👏 We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners (IV D, VD, VIC, VIIA & VIII A) and participants for their active involvement, creativity, and dedication. Your hard work and teamwork made the event a grand success.

The School Level Award Ceremony for the 𝙈𝙞𝙩𝙨𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙞 𝘼𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝙀𝙣𝙞𝙠𝙠𝙞 𝙁𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖 2024–2025 was successfully conducted on 02.05.2026.

We are delighted to announce that 𝐌𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐞𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐕𝐀 has been honoured with the prestigious 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐎 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 (𝐍𝐅𝐔𝐀𝐉) 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 for winning the competition.

It is noteworthy that he participated in this international event in 2025 while he was studying at 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐬𝐞. His accomplishment reflects his creativity, dedication, and consistent effort in expressing ideas through his Enikki work.

The school congratulates him on this commendable achievement and wishes him continued success in all his future endeavours.

On her 7th birthday, Pema Choden Dorji of Class I A shared her happiness in a truly thoughtful way. She gifted pencil kits to her class and subject teachers, and also generously contributed beautiful window curtains to her classroom.

Such a kind and caring gesture at such a young age reflects a wonderful spirit of sharing and gratitude. Wishing Pema Choden Dorji a very Happy Birthday and many more years filled with kindness and joy!
