The School Tarayana Club is delighted to have run a food stall during the school concert on the 29th and 30th of August during the school concert.

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us on both days. Your overwhelming response and generosity made our small initiative truly meaningful.

Every purchase you made was more than just enjoying food—it was an act of kindness. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 by helping them buy daily necessities like school uniforms, stationeries, and more.

You were not just buying food—you were sharing hope with us and all beside us.

We, the coordinators, sincerely thank the school administration, teachers, students, and staff for their constant support. Together, we were able to make this initiative a success.

The Lamgong HSS PARO Tarayana Club is delighted to share that we have secured 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on the theme “𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐃𝐏” organized by the Tarayana Foundation in May 2025.

This morning, we were truly honored to receive the Certificate of Achievement, awarded to our school and all our club members during the morning assembly. It is a proud and memorable moment for all of us!

The school's Tarayana Club, in collaboration with dedicated school staff, undertook a meaningful community service initiative today to support the ongoing construction of 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐤𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲, located on a hilltop above our school.

Both students and staff actively contributed their time and effort toward the development of this important spiritual and cultural landmark. The initiative aimed to instill values of volunteerism, teamwork, and community responsibility among the students, especially the members of the Tarayana Club.

The Tarayana Club would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to the school administration for their generous support and for arranging transportation for the volunteers. All students and staff returned home safely, with hearts filled with satisfaction at the end of the day.

On May 28, during our morning assembly at the Primary Campus, the 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 came together to observe 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 under the theme “𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞.”

With a powerful talk by the male teacher, Mr. Tshering Tobgay, heartfelt donations from our male teachers, and an educational session for girls from Classes IV–VI, the event aimed to 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

A big thank you to all the male teachers for your support and generosity! Your actions truly empower our girls to speak up and take charge of their health with confidence and pride.

To express our deep respect for Mother Earth🌍 and to observe 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫 tonight, 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 organized a mass cleaning campaign as an awareness program for the entire school. Students actively participated in cleaning in and around the school premises, demonstrating their commitment to environmental conservation.

Additionally, students have pledged to turn off their lights at home from 𝟖:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟗:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 and chant 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮, taking advantage of the 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐠 (oral transmission) received from our Lam Neten during the School Rimdo yesterday.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude 🙏 to the Tarayana Foundation and WWF Bhutan for giving us the opportunity to be part of this meaningful program.

As we celebrate the joyous occasion of our most beloved King, His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck’s 45th Birth Anniversary, we reflect on His Majesty’s unwavering love, sacrifice, and dedication to taking our Nation forward.

On this special day, the Tarayana family humbly offer our heartfelt wishes and reaffirms our commitment to serving the Tsa-Wa-Sum with sincerity and utmost dedication. Under His Majesty’s compassionate leadership, we remain steadfast in our efforts to uplift the lives of those in need, fostering harmony, sustainability, and well-being for our rural population.

With profound reverence, we offer our humble gratitude to His Majesty—the selfless leader, the compassionate protector, the true people’s King—whose boundless wisdom and unwavering vision illuminate our path and inspire our hearts.

We pray for His Majesty’s long life, good health, and eternal happiness. May Bhutan continue to prosper under his visionary reign.

We are delighted to announce the return of Sonam Tsheten Wangchuk and Tshering Zam from the Asia Student Leadership Conference in Singapore. They were warmly welcomed at the airport this morning, 28th October 2024, by Lamgong HSS Vice Principal, Tarayana Club Coordinators, Class Teacher, and school captains and family members.

Both Sonam and Tshering bring back fresh perspectives, insights, and inspiration from connecting with young leaders across Asia. Their experience at the conference is sure to inspire fellow students to embrace leadership, growth, and service within our school and beyond. We look forward to the positive impact they will bring to our youth!
