Celebrating our Annual Sports Day on this auspicious May 2nd, marking the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Third Druk Gyalpo Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, the Father of Modern Education in Bhutan, made the day even more meaningful. It was a reminder that learning goes beyond the classroom, and that sports play a vital role in shaping confidence, teamwork, and resilience in our young learners.
We were deeply honored to have Dasho Drangpoen Tenzin as our esteemed Chief Guest. His encouraging words and continued support for our children truly inspired us all, even as we carried on through the gentle drizzle.
The day was filled with energy, joy, and togetherness, making it yet another successful celebration. Our heartfelt thanks to all the children and their families for participating and for the love and kindness shared throughout the event.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend! ๐๐

Today, senior students from grade IV-VI explored science beyond the classroom through hands-on experiments based on their interests, including volcano eruptions, hydroelectricity, magnetic force, and recycling projects. They took turns presenting their projects, and though it was a first-time experience for some, they demonstrated growing confidence while sharing their ideas and findings.
These meaningful experiments helped them connect theory with real-life applications while developing research skills, communication, and critical thinking. This learning approach promotes creativity, collaboration, and deeper understanding of science. Hereโs a glimpse of their experiments. ๐๐โป๏ธ

Since last month, our mornings begin with a 20minute reading session before the first period, where students alternate weekly between Dzongkha and English to strengthen their language skills.
Our junior students enjoyed a memorable field trip on Friday to Kyichu Lhakhang, where they received blessings, shared lunch at the park, and made the most of the pleasant weather with fun outdoor activities.
Students are also actively engaging in Clubs & Physical Education; hereโs a glimpse of our Montessori learners practicing walking in straight lines, while Class II students build balance skills by walking with a book on their backs.
