Our History
As a pioneer of Private Primary Education in Paro, Yoezerling was established in 2003.Having grown both in size and reputation in the provision of care and quality Primary Education, the school management started Yoezerling Children's House in 2013. Established especialy to meet the demand for quality early childcare and education , Yoezerling Children's House is equipped with trained teachers and scientifically tested teaching- learning materials that will encourage fun learning.

Today, 21 September, is observed as National Mock Drill Day across Bhutan. Yoezerling School conducted its second mock drill of the year, led by the schoolโ€™s Disaster Management Team.

The drill focused on preparing students and staff for a safe and orderly evacuation in the event of an emergency, while strengthening awareness, preparedness, and resilience within our school community.

The second evening of the Annual School Concert was graced by the presence of Paro Dasho Dzongda as the Chief Guest, whose presence added great significance to the occasion.

The evening featured a vibrant array of musical and dance performances in Tibetan, Korean, English, and Hindi, alongside performances celebrating Bhutanโ€™s linguistic diversity, including Sharchopa and Lhotshampa.

Our students enjoyed yet another memorable evening, bringing the same enthusiasm, confidence, and joyful spirit that they displayed on the first night.

The Annual School Concert 2026 was held on September 18 & 19, featuring a vibrant showcase of our studentsโ€™ talents through a variety of dance and musical performances. We were honoured to have the Principal of Olathang School as our Chief Guest on the first evening

As part of our continued effort to preserve and celebrate our rich culture and traditions, students proudly presented Boedra performances across various songs, along with other cultural and contemporary performances.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the parents who came to support and encourage our students as they took to the stage. A heartfelt thank you also goes to the parents who generously assisted with ticketing, costumes, and dressing the students throughout the programmes. On Thursday 17 Sept, the senior students and faculty of Yoezerling School paid a visit to Dranja Goenpa, Paro, to offer prayers and condolences following the passing of His Eminence Ngawang Tenzin, the former Dorji Lopen of the Central Monastic Body.

The late Dorji Lopen holds a significant place in the history and community of Yoezerling School. In March 2003, His Eminence graced and inaugurated the schoolโ€™s first ceremony and offered prayers and blessings for the students to have a successful and prosperous school life. His blessings and connection with the school remain a cherished part of our history.

During the visit, our students and faculty offered prayers and flowers in remembrance of His Eminence and to pay their respects.

We sincerely express our gratitude to Dranja Goenpa for the opportunity to take part in the prayer ceremony and for the kind hospitality and refreshments provided to our students and faculty.

Yoezerling School joins the nation in offering our deepest prayers and condolences. May the enlightened wisdom and compassion of His Eminence continue to shine and benefit all sentient beings. ๐Ÿ’›โœจ๐Ÿ™

On August 21, our Grade 4 and 5 students visited Tenchenchoeling Gatshel Buddhist College for Nuns Centre Monastic Body in Paro for a meaningful day of learning, reflection, and fun.

The students offered prayers and butter lamps at the lhakhang, engaged in an interactive question-and-answer session with the nuns, and shared a few dances during their break. They also captured the beautiful surroundings through drawings and recorded their experiences in their journals.

The day continued with a packed lunch, followed by fun-filled football games and Scout activities, giving the students an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, strengthen teamwork, and create wonderful memories together.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the lhakhang for warmly welcoming our students, providing the space and refreshments, and supporting this meaningful learning experience. Thank you for your generous hospitality and support. ๐Ÿ’›โœจ

We are proud of the courage & determination each student demonstrated while taking on the challenge of public speaking for the very first time.
