Shari Higher Secondary School declared its mid examination result with the parents today at the courtyard of the school academic block. The school would like to congratulate all the certificate holders and their parents for the collective efforts that culminated into beautiful smiles, cheers and laughters among all those gathered for the occasion. But remember this is not the be all and end all of your achievement.

The journey has just begun well for you all. The momentum has been created now. It is just that you need to maintain it. May be you need some few trimings somewhere to make it perfect.

To the rest of you, I should say that you have equal opportunity to climb up and compete with those who are already on track. It is just that you have to find space and work your way. This is the only way to build your dreams.

Creating and defecating the environment is easy. But managing it needs draconian power. Everywhere today, waste products have become a nusiance and is likely to become severe in the not too distant future. It is time we come together and create a safe place for us to live.
A bank of ideas was on display at Shari HSS to help reduce and manage our waste. Given the opportunity our children have the potential to resolve this alarming issue. The future belongs to them and it is their level of understanding and severity that the children should be made to use and act on it.
The program went well with all the staff and students taking part in this great event. It has benifited our children in the development of ideas and other skills required for their learning and growth.

Our vibrant culture was given a voice in the school again. It is one that makes what we are. Our unique way of portraying the identity falls on each one of us and more so the youth who are the future of the nation.

Such programs were given no space in the school annual calendar in the last few years and has affected our children so much. Our children had to re-learn the basics of choreography from the scratch yet the performance was not bad.

Children only needs guidance and a bit of inspiration from the teachers and elders. There is nothing that cannot be achieved given the right direction and instruction. Failure comes only from an unclear instruction and directions.

ICT project work on display by class XII students at Shari HSS MP hall. It is a game created by each group using python and tkinter. Coding is one important skill that students used to create these games.
The students came out with some of the most interesting games ever. Given the platform, our students have the potential to produce wonderful games for us to enjoy. A world of games which are simple yet so effective to be used by all.

Today coinciding with the Teacher's Day, the family of Shari HSS had the opportunity to solemnize our long due promotion of our Principal to specialist level this year. The promotion is the testimony of his dedication, hard work and support to the staff and children for decades. May the triple gem bless everyone and take the school to greater heights under your kind leadership.
To all the teachers, Happy Teacher's Day. May you all lead the children of this great nation to prosperity for all times to come. There isn't one like teachers in this world who would be building the foundations of every human beings on earth.

We are bound by the four elements of earth, water, fire and wind. Our body is therefore vulnerable to these elements at any time. We need to protect ourselves by evocking the deities on a regular basis.
One such program in the school is the school rimdo. In a most befitting manner, the school conducted rimdo today. The school was blessed to have the presence of venerable Lam Neten of Paro dratshang. Lam took his break time to interact with the children to initiate Kago and Luung to the members of the school. It was also touching to have his heart touching advice to our children on the values of time and other issues pertaining our youth of the present time. There was much awakening and a sense of realization in all. A powerful message indeed.
There was the feel of the occasion unlike other times. All gratitude to the school administration and all the members involved in the program.

Captains badge awarding and oath taking ceremony was held today morning during the assembly at the courtyard of the administrative block. Students were briefed on their roles as they take up the leadership responsibilities this auspicious day on the 14th of March 2023. It is important to learn and experience new ideas when the opportunity knocks.

The elected captains were the creams of the school. Hereafter, they will steer the wheel of Shari HSS along with the Principal and staff till the end of the academic session. We would like to congratulate each one of them and wish them a wonderful academic year ahead.

May the school shine through the tireless efforts and the wonderful support rendered in various capacities.

Today, Shari Higher Secondary School marked its first program of the year 2023. It came back to life after a long gap of about 4 years. The covid pandemic culprit has been convinced now and has proven guilty of depriving our children from such activities of skills development.

This core values were missing in our children's wholesome development. With the very many programs of the like on the way, it is hoped that our children become more loyal, dedicated and spiritual to serve our country. Bookish knowledge is not all that counts to determine success. It is the discipline, manners, etiquette and skills that prevail at the end.

The program saw a bundle of talented children in their performances. Yet, some programs were seen to need refinements especially our traditional Baedra choreography. This is seen as something lacking from my remote observation of the programs. Rest were settled fine.

We look forward to watching more interesting performances in the upcoming schedule. Blending entertainment and study is must in a school setting.
