Earthquake Mock Drill at Olathang Primary School

Olathang Primary School conducted an Earthquake Mock Drill on 21st September under the theme “Resilience Starts at Home!”

The drill was conducted to strengthen earthquake preparedness, build awareness, and equip students and staff with the knowledge and skills to respond safely during an earthquake.

Through practical evacuation exercises, students and staff practised “Drop, Cover and Hold On,” followed by an orderly evacuation to the designated assembly area.

The activity highlighted the importance of being prepared, staying calm, and supporting one another during emergencies. It also reinforced the message that resilience begins with preparedness at home, at school, and within our community.

Resilience starts at home — Prepare, Practise and Protect one another!
