As a part of upholding traditional games and sport in our school, commenced with Khuru competition among the four houses. The final will be played either on Thursday or Friday.

Khuru is a traditional Bhutanese game that can be played in schools to promote physical fitness, concentration, coordination, and discipline among students. It provides students with an opportunity to learn and practice a valuable part of Bhutanese culture while enjoying an outdoor activity.

Playing khuru in schools also helps students develop teamwork, patience, sportsmanship, and respect for others. Regular participation can strengthen their appreciation of Bhutanese traditions and encourage them to stay active and healthy.

Successfully conducted PD on Structured Reading Programme by Mrs. Yonten Tharchen, Mrs. Pema Lhaden Pema Lhazin and Mrs. Sonam Chodday Sc
The PD was indeed timely and full of scopes for our young learners. Wish, with the implementation of this programme, our young minds will greatly benefit and will be helpful in their educationional journey.

Also thankful to Mr. Karma Wangchuk for presenting us with the School feeding Management and other mess related issues and procedures. We are truly thankful for your thoughtful presentation and other remainders la.

Successfully conducted Parents-Teacher meeting and Declared results for Mid-Term examination.
The agendas for meeting included the following points:
Result analysis by exam coordinator.
Created awareness on anti bullying by well-being focal and how to use students behavioral register by the teachers.
Presented on total donation collected and expenditure incurred during the installation of Mani-Lakhor.
Discussed on possibility of changing school uniform from next academic year.
Created awareness on use of mobiles phones by students and parents. - Media literacy.
Health coordinator created awareness on importance of maintaining personal hygiene by students and how parents should play their responsibilities.
Finally results were Declared and prizes and certificates were awarded for academic toppers.

Today, we are delighted to formally welcome Lop. Phub Gyeltshen, who has been internally transferred from Taju Primary School after serving there for more than two decades. Lopon brings with him a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and rich experience in the field of teaching.

Our school warmly welcomed him by offering a Tashi Khadar, a ceremonial scarf, as a gesture of respect and heartfelt reception.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Principal, Vice Principal, and all the teachers of Taju Primary School for escorting Lopon to our school. This truly reflects the strong bond of friendship, care, support, and unity among the staff of their institution.

Although we could not organize a grand ceremony, we marked this meaningful occasion with a prayer for his successful and fulfilling stay. This was followed by a simple cake-cutting ceremony and the lighting of butter lamps. We sincerely appreciate the potluck program thoughtfully initiated by the teachers of primary school la.

We hope and pray that Lopon’s time at our school will be productive, fulfilling, and meaningful. Thank you, Lopon, for choosing to guide and support our young learners during this important time.28.07.26

we gather with both gratitude and a touch of sadness to bid farewell to our three teaching practice teachers who have been an integral part of our community for the past six months. During this time, they have not only shared their knowledge and skills but also brought enthusiasm, dedication, and warmth into our classrooms. Their passion for teaching has inspired our students and enriched our learning environment in many meaningful ways. Though their journey with us comes to an end, the impact they have made will remain with us for a long time. We sincerely thank them for their hard work, commitment, and positive spirit, and we wish them all the very best in their future endeavors. May they continue to grow, inspire, and achieve great success wherever they go.
