དེ་ལས་ སྤྱི་ལོ་ ༡༦༢༡ ལུ་ གདན་ས་ལྕགས་རི་ལུ་ དགེ་སློང་ཞལ་གྲངས་ ༣༠ དེ་ཅིག་འབད་དགེ་འདུན་འདུས་པའི་གཞུང་གྲྭ་ཚང་གི་སྡེ་གསར་སྦེ་བཙུགས་གནང་ནུག། ཞབས་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གིས་ ལྷོ་མོན་འདི་འབྲུག་དང་ མོན་པ་འདི་འབྲུག་པ་ཟེར་བའི་ཐ་སྙད་གསོལ་གནང་སྟེ་ ལུང་ཕྱོགས་སོ་སོ་སྦེ་ཁ་གཏོར་ཡོད་མི་ཚུ་ཡང་ འབྲུག་པའི་མངའ་འོག་ལུ་འདུས་ཏེ་ རྫོང་ཆེན་མང་རབས་ཅིག་ རིམ་གྱིས་བཞེངས་གནང་བའི་རྗེས་སུ་ འབྲུག་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་འདི་གཅིག་སྒྲིལ་བཟོ་གནང་ཡི། དེ་མ་ཚད་ ཆོས་སྲིད་ལུགས་གཉིས་ཀྱི་གཞུང་གཞི་བཙུགས་མཛད་དེ་ རྒྱལ་ཁབ་འདི་བདེ་སྐྱིད་དང་ལྡནམ་སྦེ་ སྲིད་ཀྱི་གནས་སྟངས་ཡང་སྒྲིང་སྒྲི་བཟོ་བའི་ཤུལ་ལས་ ཐུགས་དམ་ལུ་བཞུགས་གནང་ནུག།

ད་རིས་ རང་ཟླ་ ༡༡ པའི་ཚེས་ ༡༡ འདི་ ཞབས་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་མཆོག་གི་ འཁྲུངས་སྐར་དུས་ཆེན་ཐེངས་ ༤༢༧ པ་ཨིནམ་ལས་ ཞབས་དྲུང་མཆོག་གི་མཛད་རྣམ་ལས་ ད་རེས་ང་བཅས་འབྲུགཔ་ཚུ་ རང་དབང་རང་བཙན་སྦེ་ དགའ་སྐྱིད་སྤྲོ་གསུམ་གྱི་སྒོ་ལས་ སྡོད་ནིའི་གོ་སྐབས་ཐོབ་མི་ལུ་ སེམས་ཀྱི་གདིང་ལས་ར་ བཀྲིན་དགའ་ཚོར་བསམ་དགོཔ་ཨིན། དེ་མ་ཚད་ ཕྱིན་ཆད་ རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཀྱི་རང་དབང་ལུ་འགྱུར་ལྡོག་མེད་པའི་ཁར་ བདེ་སྐྱིད་ཀྱི་ཉིནམ་ལུ་རྒྱུན་ཆད་མེད་པ་ ཡུན་བརྟན་སྦེ་གནས་པའི་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་དགོཔ་འདི་གལ་ཆེ། དེ་འབདཝ་ལས་ ད་རིས་ ཁྱད་པར་འཕགས་པའི་ཉིནམ་དང་འབྲེལ་ གཞུང་གྲྭ་ཚང་དབུ་བརྙེས་ཏེ་ མི་ལོ་ ༤༠༠ འཁོར་བའི་དུས་སྟོན་བརྩི་སྲུང་ཞུཝ་ཨིན།

December 14, 2021:

The great unifier of Bhutan, Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, was born to Yab Tenpai Nyima and Yum Sonam Palkyi Buthri on the 11th day of the 11th month according to the lunar calendar in the year 1594. He arrived to Bhutan in the Fire Dragon year (1616) at the age of twenty three and passing through Gasa to reach Thimphu, blessed the entire region with his lotus feet. In 1621, Zhabdrung Rinpoche established the first Sangha community at Chari and appointed Pekar Jungney (who later became the first Je Khenpo) as the disciplinary master. He built many Dzongs and monasteries which are still prominent today. By 1651, Zhabdrung Rinpoche unified the country which was earlier ruled by regional heads and divided into warring factions. He introduced the dual system of governance and the country once known as Lhomon was renamed "Druk" and the people as "Drukpas," as a proclamation of his political and spiritual supremacy in the land. Having brought peace and political stability in the country, he entered into permanent retreat in 1651 and today, on the 427th Birth Anniversary of Zhabdrung Rinpoche, we offer deep gratitude for the peace and happiness that we enjoy today. May we offer our collective prayers and may the sun of happiness continue to shine upon blessed Bhutan.

The Thongdrel Committee Members would like to inform well wishers and supporters that the New Thongdrel of Tshedra Goenpa Lhakhang will arrive at Tshedra Goenpa Lhakhang on 19th November,2020 coinciding with the 5th day, Tenth month of Bhutanese Calendar and will be unfurled for veneration on 22nd November,2020 coinciding with the 8th day , Tenth Month, 2020 of Bhutanese Calendar.

We would like request all well wishers, supporters and everyone wishing to witness the unfurl of Thongdrel to attain the ceremony on 22nd November,2020.

Short Description of New Thongdrel and statues in Thongdrel for Tshedra Goenpa Lhakhang are as follow :-

1) Sangye Menla (Medicinal Buddha ) :

Sangye Menla on the top . In the Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions the Medicine Buddha (Sangye Menla ) takes a special place in the hearts of devotees. Specializing in the curing of diseases, both physical and mental – of which confusion is the root cause – the Medicine Buddha is also the Buddha of wisdom.

2) CHOE LONG TRUEL SUM :

Buddha in the center, Guru Rinpoche on the right and Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal on the left.
Guru Rinpochey removes all type of obstacles that causes sufferings. Zhabdrung bestow the Kingdom with continuous blessings and maintain its sovereignty.

3) RIGSUM GOENPO :

Jamelyang (Manjushri) is placed on the right, Chana Dorji(Vajrapani) on the left and Chenrizig (Avalokiteshvara ) in the Center. Rigsum Goenpo protects the house and its occupants from all evils specially the ones casted upon you by others to destroy you.

4) TSE LHA NAM SUM :

A set of three statues consists of Sangay Tsepamey (Amitayus ) in the center, Namgyelm (Vijaya) on the left and Dolkar (White Tara ) on the right. Tse Lha Nam Sum does bless us with long life and good luck. Any pets and domestic animals connected with the house will also be equally blessed. It is also believed to prolong the life of the devotees.

5) TERTON SHERAB MEBAR :

Terton Sherab Mebar : Its said that Terton Sherab Mebar came to Bhutan from Kham (Tibet) in the 15th Century. Terton Sherab Mebar approched Bhutan through the Jomolhari where he discovered his first treasure. One of such Ter (Treasure ) was the statue of SANGAY TSEPAMEY (BUDDHA OF LONGEVITY) discovered from Tshedra Goenpa Lhakhang cliff.

6) GOMO & GEYNYEN :

Gomo & Geynyen is considered to be one of the country's two guardian deities appointed by Zhabdrung. They are also considered the most important protector deities for the followers of Drukpa Kargyu.

7) Tamdrin :

Tamdrin is another protective manifestation of Avalokiteshvara. Tamdrin in red and Dorje in blue often serve as guardian gods at the entrance of temples.

-8) Dragmar :
It's believed that worshiping Guru Dragma will removes all type of obstacles.

9) Tshedra Tshen , Tshomem & Nga Sum :

Tshedra Tshen & Tshomeyem are considered the local guardian deities of Tshedra Goenpa Lhakhang. They are also considered the most important protector deities of locality.
Aum Nga Sum is the worshiped as God of Business.
