Wanakha Central School's Scouts celebrated World Peace Day today (21st September) with the Theme: "Shaping Peace Together". Various programs were organized both virtually as well as physically keeping in mind safety health protocols.
Therefore, we scouts unitedly would like to uphold International Peace Day 2020 with individual pladges. We too have the confidence that the peace shall prevail all times to come even though presently we are with COVID-19 pandemic.
We scouts believe in self as we are agent of positive change.
Let us join together in Re-Shaping Peace Together''.

Wanakha Central School's Scouts Association is proud to inform that out of 33 academic toppers (classes IV-X), 28 are scouts which is 85 percent of the toppers.
We have equal number of students as scouts and non Scouts.
With this small analysis, I feel scouts are doing great in academic too.

Program: Investiture Ceremony
Guest of honour: Mrs. Kezang D Wangmo, Ex MP/Actress.
Organizer: School Scouts Association.
Date:14.5.2021

"A Scout smiles and whistles under all circumstances", Baden Powell. All the staff and students of Wanakha Central School are scouts at heart though may not be physically as everyone actively takes part in investiture ceremony organized by the school scouts. The aim of the program was to make our future leaders nationally rooted and globally competent by joining the scouting program with much enthusiasm.
It may not be a successful story at the end of the day if we fail to receive support from school administration, Dzongkhag Scouts Association, Bhutan Scouts Association and staff and students of Wanakha Central School and also our guest of honour Ex Dasho Kezang D Wangmo. Thank you to all.

The first responsibility of a leader is to define reality. The last is to say thank you. In between, the leader is a servant. —Max DePree
The aspiring Scouts Leader nominees are campaigning in their individual troop for the seat of Patrol and Assistant Patrol Leadership in the beginning of the academic session.
This is the platform for Scouts to get hand on experience of democracy.
