Our school would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Dzongkhag Health Sector and the dedicated team from Mongar Regional Referral Hospital for conducting eye and dental health screenings for our students and staff. Their professional service and commitment greatly contributed to the well-being of our school community.

The screening program helped identify potential health concerns at an early stage while also promoting awareness on the importance of maintaining good eye and oral health. We are truly grateful for their valuable support, care and dedication towards fostering a healthier and more informed school community.

On the auspicious occasion of the Coronation Day of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo, our school proudly participated in a tree plantation program coordinated by the School Y-VIA.

The initiative brought together staff and students in a collective effort to promote environmental sustainability and honor the visionary leadership of His Majesty through meaningful action.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to The Bhutan Youth Development Fund and Bhutan YDF, Young Volunteers In Action for providing us with the opportunity to observe this special day through such a meaningful and impactful activity.

Our school was greatly honored to welcome the talented students of Drametse HSS for the inspiring and insightful show “𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐬𝐞.” The program successfully brought together creativity, wisdom and meaningful messages that deeply resonated with and inspired the Yadi CS community. We extend our sincere appreciation to the performers and organizers for sharing such a memorable and enriching experience with us.

Today, on this auspicious 𝐃𝐮𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐍𝐠𝐚 𝐙𝐨𝐦 day, it was truly a blessed and meaningful occasion for the 𝐘𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐂𝐒 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲. Our 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 and 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 were fortunate to participate in the 𝐓𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐤𝐡𝐨𝐫 at the ongoing 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢-𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐣𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧, offering prayers and receiving spiritual blessings together in unity and devotion.

We were also deeply honored to receive the sacred 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐣𝐢 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐠) from 𝐊𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐁𝐚𝐳𝐚 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐞. May this precious blessing bring wisdom, compassion and prosperity to all sentient beings.

An enriching 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 was coordinated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐣𝐢 and co-partner 𝐌𝐫. 𝐓𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐩 for 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬 and 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 following dinner hours. The session provided participants with a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of the night sky through observation and hands-on learning, fostering curiosity, scientific thinking and experiential learning beyond the classroom.

𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 • 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

A 𝐎𝐧𝐞-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 is being organized today by the 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 with the aim of promoting students’ physical well-being, encouraging emotional support and teamwork and enhancing academic performance through active participation in sports. Conducted on a 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬-𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬, the tournament provides students with an opportunity to showcase their sporting spirit, strengthen unity and foster a healthy and energetic learning environment within the school community.

Our school observed 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒚𝒈𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒚 meaningfully under the theme “𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 #𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒅𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒚𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅.” The programme included an advocacy speech delivered by the 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏, highlighting the importance of menstrual health awareness, proper hygiene practices and the need to create a supportive environment for all girls.

In a thoughtful gesture of care and solidarity, the boys of our school also donated 𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒅𝒔 to the girls, promoting empathy, respect and shared responsibility towards menstrual wellbeing. The event served as an important reminder that menstrual health is everyone’s concern and together we can build a more understanding and inclusive society.

We are deeply honoured to welcome the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 of the 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨 𝐀𝐮𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐧 to our school. During her visit, she shared valuable insights on the importance of integrity, honesty and building a corruption-free society. Her inspiring message encouraged both students and staff to become responsible and ethical citizens who uphold strong moral values in their daily lives.

The meaningful question-and-answer session provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the importance of integrity in shaping a better future. Our school is also proud to receive the 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 along with a 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. This recognition inspires us to continue fostering a culture of honesty, accountability and responsibility within our school community.

Anti-Corruption Commission of Bhutan

𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 • 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

School Dzongkha Literary Club successfully conducted the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐕𝐈𝐈–𝐕𝐈𝐈𝐈). The event provided a wonderful platform for students to showcase their confidence, creativity and fluency in Dzongkha through meaningful and expressive storytelling.

The school appreciates the enthusiastic participation of all contestants and the support extended by teachers and house coordinators in making the programme successful.
