Huge congratulations to our amazing Scouts for an incredible showing at the historic 1st National Scouts Jamboree in Paro (May 26–30, 2026)!

The school is immensely proud of our very own student, who showed true leadership by being selected as the Gojay (leader) for the Jigme sub-camp and later serving as the overall troop leader.

From the dawn-breaking "Scout Stride" hike up to Paro Taktshang to community service, Mindfulness, and GNH modules, our scouts truly lived up to the theme of *"Leadership, Service, and Mindfulness."

𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

In commemorating with Her Majesty’s Birth Anniversary, the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐒𝐆𝐂𝐏) took initiative to promote 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 among students. A Reel Competition was successfully conducted with the support of the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 (𝐃𝐨𝐌𝐂𝐈𝐈𝐏) and the 𝐁𝐡𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐁𝐌𝐅).

The competition was organized in two levels:

XI Arts – 1st Place
XII Com B – 2nd Place

𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐈 (𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐗 & 𝐗) – 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝑩𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆
X A – 1st Place
X B – 2nd Place

All classes participated enthusiastically in this meaningful initiative. Based on the judges’ evaluation, two classes from each level were shortlisted and their reels were posted on the school page for the Audience Choice segment.
The final results were determined through:

- 40% Judges’ Score
- 60% Audience Choice (Views, Likes, and Shares)

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the School Counselor, Class Teachers, Students, Bhutan Media Foundation (BMF), DoMCIIP, and all supporters for making the program a grand success. Their support and participation have contributed greatly to promoting responsible and mindful digital media use among our students.

Received blessings from Kurje and Jampa Lhakhang in the early morning, SMT accompanied him to the school.
Led by Lam of Kharchu Dratshang the prayers were made and Zhugdrey Layrim were processed.

As he will begin his journey at Yoeseltse HSS, Samtse he will offer a meaningful gift to the school community—his commitment to establishing strong discipline among learners, prioritizing the welfare of both staff and students, and fostering a healthy and focused study culture.

His dedication to nurturing a reading and writing culture among learners, along with promoting strong teacher-parent collaboration, reflects his holistic approach to education. He firmly believes that student discipline and a positive study culture are the cornerstones of effective learning, and that true learning success lies in actively engaging students as the central participants in the learning process, with teachers serving as guides.

With such a clear and student-centered vision, the school community can look forward to continued growth and meaningful progress.
