Lamas, Khenpos, and Lopons graciously presided over the program to formally welcome the newly appointed workers and captains for the year 2026. On this occasion, the Khenpos and Lamas delivered addresses to the students, encouraging them to uphold virtuous conduct and to serve the monastery with diligence and devotion.

The annual examination results of Nimalung Shedra have been officially declared in the presence of the Lopens and Khenpos. Prizes and recognition were awarded to the monks who achieved successful results in their studies.

འཕགས་ཡུལ་གཉན་ཡོད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་དུ་མཉམ་མེད་ཤཱཀྱའི་རྒྱལ་པོས་མུ་སྟེགས་ཀྱི་སྟོན་པ་ རྫོགས་བྱེད་དང་། གནག་ལས་སྐྱེས། རྒྱལ་བ་ཅན། གཉེན་གྱི་བུ། ནོག་ཅན། སྐྲའི་ལ་བ་ཅན་སྟེ་མུ་སྟེགས་ཀྱི་སྟོན་པ་དྲུག་འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་ཆོ་འཕྲུལ་གྱི་མཛད་པས་ཕམ་པར་མཛད་དེ་དམ་པའི་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་ཕྱོགས་བཅུར་བསྒྲེངས་པའི་དུས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་དེ་ལ་འབྲུག་བུམ་ཐང་ཉི་མ་ལུང་དགོན་པར་ཀློང་ཆེན་སྙིང་གི་ཐིག་ལེ་ལས་བདེ་བ་ཅན་དུ་བགྲོད་པའིཆོ་ག་དཔག་མེད་མྱུར་ལམ་ཐོག་ལོ་བསྟར་གྱི་ཞིང་སྒྲུབ་ཆེན་མོ་འཚོག་བཞིན་ཡོད།
The Annual Zhingdrup is currently being conducted at Bumthang Nimalung Monastery in conjunction with the sacred occasion of Chotrul Duchen (“The Great Day of Miraculous Manifestations”), one of the four major Buddhist festivals commemorating significant events in the life of Lord Buddha.

This holy period, also known as Bumgyur Dawa, marks the time when Lord Buddha displayed miraculous manifestations at Shravasti (nyenyoe) to subdue heretical teachers and inspire greater devotion among his disciples. Observing and participating in virtuous activities during this auspicious month is believed to multiply the merit of positive actions many times over.

Nimalung Monastery is pleased to announce that the Annual Dechen Zhingdrup, dedicated to Amitabha Buddha, will commence from 20th February to 27th February at Bumthang ,beginning on the auspicious occasion of Lord Buddha Days. This sacred practice is believed to be one of the earliest Zhingdrup traditions established in Bhutan.
On this meritorious occasion, devotees and people from nearby areas who wish to receive spiritual inspiration and offer prayers to Amitabha Buddha are warmly invited to participate. Participants are kindly requested to join from the evening of 19th February. The monastery will provide meals for all attendees throughout the duration of the program.

Led by Kyabje Dudjom Yangse Rinpoche, on this most auspicious first day of the eleventh lunar month, Nimalung Monastery, accompanied by monks, khenpos, and lopens, began its yearly journey to Gelephu in southern Bhutan for the annual winter residence.

The 16th examination of Ngayur Nyingma Institute Nimalung Shedra at Bumthag Bhutan was ended sucessfuly, Collaborative effort put together by khenpo ,lopens and lama made an important role in making a 2025 examination sucess.
