On August 2026 Under the guidance of Nimalung Shedra, grammar competitions were organized for Class One, while debate competitions were conducted on a class-wise basis. In addition, discussion competitions were organized among the students of Class Eight.
The students participated wit interest, demonstrating their dedication to learning and their aspiration to develop greater wisdom and understanding. Such competitions provide valuable opportunities for students to learn from one another, think critically, communicate effectively, and engage more deeply with their studies and Buddhist teachings.

༈ ཕྱི་ལོ་༢༠༢༦ ཟླ ༨ ཚེས ༨ ཉིན སྔ་འགྱུར་མཐོ་སློབ་འགྱུར་མེད་མདོ་ཐེག་མཆོག་གླིང་ཉི་མ་ལུང་བཤད་གྲྭའི་རྒྱུན་ལས་གོ་སྒྲིག་འོག་འཛིན་རིམ་བརྒྱད་པའི་སློབ་གཉེར་བསོད་ནམས་དབང་ཕྱུག་ནས་བདེན་གཉིས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་བཞག་ཐོག་བགྲོ་གླེང་དཔྱད་རྩོམ་སྤེལ་ཏེ་བགྲོ་གླེང་གཏམ་བཤད་དང་དྲི་བ་དྲིས་ལན་གནང་ཡོད།

On 8th August 2026 A discussion was held at Nimalung Monastery on the profound topic of the Two Truths (བདེན་པ་གཉིས་). The session was presented by Sonam Wangchuk, a Grade 8 student, who shared his understanding and reflections on the subject.

Following the presentation, Shedra students actively participated by raising questions and engaging in thoughtful discussions with the presenter. This interactive session provided an excellent opportunity for students to express their understanding, clarify important points, and learn from one another through respectful dialogue and inquiry.

འཛམ་གླིང་སྤྱི་བསང་གི་དུས་ཆེན་སྲུང་རྩི།

༈ རང་ཟླ་༥པའི་ཚེས་༡༥ ནི་འཛམ་གླིང་སྤྱི་བསང་གི་དུས་ཆེན་ཞེས་བོད་དུ་མཁན་སློབ་ཆོས་གསུམ་ཞལ་འཛོམས་ནས་བསམ་ཡས་མི་འགྱུར་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ལེགས་བསྒྲུབས་བྱུང་བས་ཡུལ་ཕྱོགས་སྐྱོང་བའི་ལྷ་ཀླུ་ཡུལ་ལྷ་གཞི་བདག་ཀུན་ལ་སློབ་དཔོན་པདྨས་རྒྱགས་རྔན་ལྷ་བསང་གི་འདོན་ཆོས་བརྩམས་ཏེ་མཆོད་པ་རྒྱ་ཆེར་གནང་བ་དེ་ལ་འཛམ་གླིང་སྤྱི་བསང་ཞེས་ཟེར་ལ། དེ་ལྟར་བུམ་ཐང་ཉི་མ་ལུང་དགོན་པ་སྤྱི་ཡོངས་ནས་ཀུན་མཁྱེན་ཆེན་པོས་མཛད་པའི་ཕུད་རབ་ཀྱི་ཐོག་ནས་བསང་ཕུད་དང་སྐྱེམས་མཆོད་གྱི་མཆོད་འབུལ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་ཕུལ་བའི་ཐོག་སྲུང་བརྩི་ཞུ་ཡོད།

According to tradition, after completing the construction of Samye Monastery, Guru Rinpoche offered smoke (sang) and libations (serkyem) to the local deities to express gratitude and restore harmony. Following this sacred tradition, Nimalung Monastery, together with the local community, gathers each year to offer smoke and libations to the local deities and to raise prayer flags, praying for peace, prosperity, good health, and the well-being of all sentient beings.

Commemoration of the Mahaparinirvana Day of Kunkhyen Mipham Jamtsho

On the sacred Mahaparinirvana Day of Kunkhyen Mipham Jamtsho, one of the greatest masters of Nyingma scholarship, the Khenpos, Lopons, and Shedra students gathered to honor and commemorate his extraordinary life, wisdom, and enlightened activities.

On this auspicious occasion, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all benefactors and devotees who generously contributed donations toward the offerings and observances. Through the merit accumulated from these virtuous acts, we dedicate prayers for peace, harmony, and prosperity throughout the world.

In fulfilment of his late grandparents’ final wish, Dudjom Yangsi Rinpoche has sponsored a Jangchub Chorten under Project 108, dedicating the merit for their auspicious rebirth and spiritual wellbeing.

The offering was also made in service of His Majesty The King and for the flourishing of the Buddha Dharma for the benefit of all beings.
