The Inter-House Dzongkha Storytelling Competition was held on May 8, 2026. Unlike conventional competitions, the participants were not pre-selected. Instead, every student from Classes IV, V, and VI was given an equal opportunity to learn and develop the skill of storytelling. This approach helped students realize that all members of the respective houses were valued and provided with a fair chance to participate in the competition.
During the event, participants from Classes IV, V, and VI of each house were selected through a wheel spinner system, ensuring transparency and equal participation. At the end of the competition, Druk House secured the first position, followed by Seng House in second place, Taag House in third place, and Chung House in fourth place.
More than emphasizing competition, the programme focused on holistic participation by encouraging every house member from Classes IV to VI to prepare and practise storytelling under the guidance of their respective house masters.
