The organization and coordination of the 17th National School Games, 2025 were excellent, particularly in terms of accommodation, sports arenas, and the technical aspects of the events. This year’s National School Games were truly fantastic, as the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) collaborated with the Bhutan Olympic Committee. The Games provided not only competitive opportunities but also adventure and valuable educational learning experiences for all participants.
Such gatherings undoubtedly help boost students’ socialization, confidence, and the creation of lasting memories through the games they played. This year, Bjishong Central School had the opportunity to represent Gasa Dzongkhag in Girls’ Volleyball and the Mixed Aerobic Team. Although our teams did not secure any positions at the National School Games, our students are winners in their own right, as they qualified through the regional level and gained invaluable experiences and memories from the event.
As Gasa Dzongkhag is one of the farthest from Sarpang, some of our players had never visited Gelephu before. They were given the opportunity to visit the town, and they were truly overwhelmed and inspired by the ongoing developmental activities in Gelephu.
I would like to sincerely thank the Ministry of Education and Skills Development as the lead organizer, the Bhutan Olympic Committee for its collaboration, and all other sponsors for their generous support. I also extend my gratitude to the Dzongkhag Education Officer and the school administration for providing the necessary support throughout the event.

Bjishong Central School will represent the school at the National School Games scheduled to be held at Sarpang from 24th to 28th December, 2025 in Volleyball and Aerobics.

Bhutan Cricket Gasa District Cricket The school would like to thank the Bhutan Cricket Council for the financial support, and the school administration for their guidance and assistance in successfully conducting the tournament. We look forward to receiving the same support in the 2026 academic year as well.
