📚 Literary Week – Objectives

1. To develop a love for reading and encourage students to read books, stories, poems, and other literary works.
2. To enhance students’ language and communication skills through reading, writing, speaking, listening, and creative activities.
3. To nurture creativity and imagination by engaging students in storytelling, poetry, drama, creative writing, and other literary activities.
4. To develop confidence and self-expression by providing opportunities for students to perform, present, recite, and share their ideas.
5. To improve vocabulary and comprehension skills through exposure to a variety of literary texts.
6. To promote a reading culture within the school and encourage students to make reading a regular habit.

🌏 EARTHQUAKE MOCK DRILL DAY

Theme: “Drop, Cover, Hold — Stay Safe, Stay Calm!”

Objectives

* Help students and staff practise appropriate actions during an earthquake.
* Develop calm and orderly evacuation habits.
* Familiarise everyone with the school’s designated assembly area.
* Identify strengths and gaps in the school’s emergency response.

Key message for students:
“When the ground shakes: DROP, COVER, and HOLD. Stay calm and follow your teacher’s instructions.”

Successful Completion of the 2nd Term Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) & Result Declaration Day.

The programme provided an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss students’ academic performance, learning progress, behaviour, attendance, and overall development. The declaration of the second term results also enabled parents and students to reflect on achievements, identify areas for improvement, and set meaningful goals for the final term.

SBIP on SSP (Structured Synthetic Phonics) and SRP (Structured Reading Program) was simultaneously conducted by Ms. Radha Ghalley and Mr. Raj Bdr Rai imparting the in-depth knowledge that they have learnt.

These both programs are paramount as they are the foundation of all learning. Through this SBIP, teachers can plan systematic phonics lessons, promote regular reading practices, monitor students' progress, and provide support to struggling readers.
