𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀: Fuel prices across the country have risen sharply since last midnight, amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.

At STCBL Fuel Station in Ramtokto, Thimphu, the price of petrol has increased from Nu 63.17 per litre to Nu 85.18, a rise of Nu 22.01, while diesel has gone up from Nu 70.06 per litre to Nu 108.05, an increase of Nu 37.99.

A 22-year-old man in Russia named Artyom reportedly lost the ability to walk after years of heavy energy drink consumption. What began as one can a day eventually turned into several daily, often on an empty stomach.

He first started experiencing pain at age 16 but continued the habit until his condition worsened. Doctors later discovered severe pancreatic damage that had also affected other organs and his nervous system. One morning, Artyom suddenly found he could no longer stand and was rushed to the hospital.

The Dorokha Hospital would like to inform the general public that Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) screening will be conducted under the Dorokha Hospital catchment area from 25th February to 15th March.

The screening will focus on population age between 18-64 years old which includes:
🩺 Diabetes
🩺 Hypertension(blood pressure)
🩺 any other related Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

We kindly request all community members to avail this important health service and not miss the opportunity when healthcare providers visit your area. Early detection and timely management can prevent serious complications.

📌 Any changes in the schedule will be informed through the respective Tshogpas and VHWs accordingly.
