In 2021, Mr. Pema Sherpa stepped into Dorokha Lower Secondary School in Samtse Dzongkhag with a vision—to transform the institution into one of the best in the district. What he found was a school with potential, but in need of a leader who could shape its future with dedication and care.

𝗔 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻
One of his first priorities was to enhance the school’s ambiance. He envisioned a learning environment where students and teachers would feel inspired. Under his leadership, the school grounds were beautified with gardens, vibrant classrooms, and well-maintained infrastructure. A sense of pride slowly emerged among the students, and the school began to radiate warmth and discipline.

𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗔 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱
With a strong belief in quality education, Mr. Pema Sherpa focused on academic improvement. He worked closely with teachers, introduced new teaching methodologies, and ensured that students received the support they needed. Regular academic reviews, extra tutoring sessions, and interactive learning strategies led to a drastic improvement in students' performances. Within a few years, Dorokha Lower Secondary School emerged as one of the best-performing schools in Samtse Dzongkhag, a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence.

Beyond academics, Mr. Pema Sherpa took on the role of a guardian. He managed internal necessities like a father—ensuring that every facility, from student resources to staff requirements, was well taken care of. Whether it was arranging classroom supplies, improving sanitation, or maintaining school discipline, he personally oversaw every detail with unwavering dedication.

Understanding that a school’s success relied heavily on its teachers, he took a special interest in mentoring and guiding the professional growth of every staff member. He encouraged continuous learning, arranged workshops, and provided personal feedback to help them grow in their careers. Under his guidance, teachers became more confident, motivated, and effective in their roles.

More than just a principal, Mr. Pema Sherpa was a compassionate leader who looked after the personal welfare of his staff.
