Bongo PS observed the International Day of Peace 2026 under the theme โ€œInvest in Peace โ€“ For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Dayโ€ through a special assembly, where a Scout volunteer student and the Scout Focal Person shared meaningful messages on the importance of peace, kindness, and harmony.

The observance reminded us that peace begins with our everyday actions and choices. Let us continue to promote understanding, respect, and harmony in our school and community.

Bongo PS observed National Earthquake Mock Drill Day 2026 with a practical mock drill to strengthen earthquake preparedness and safety among our students and staff.

Guided by the theme โ€œResilience Starts at Home,โ€ the drill helped students and staff practise safe responses, strengthen coordination, and build awareness of what to do before, during, and after an earthquake.

Together, we turn preparedness into action and build a safer, stronger, and more resilient school community.

Reading Week 2026 โ€“ Read, Imagine, Create!

Our Reading Week was celebrated from 31 August to 4 September under the theme โ€œRead, Imagine, Create โ€“ Let Every Book Take You Somewhere New!โ€

Throughout the week, students started each class with five minutes of DEAR (Drop Everything and Read), taking a quiet moment to read and enjoy the wonderful world of stories and imagination.

The week concluded with a Book Talk Competition for Classes IVโ€“VI and a Rhyme Competition for Classes Iโ€“III, celebrating our studentsโ€™ love for reading, creativity, and self-expression.
