Alaykha Primary School joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day along with the Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Third Druk Gyalpo.

The celebration was filled with gratitude and respect for our teachers, who continue to guide and inspire our students every day. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our students for organizing such a beautiful and meaningful event.

We are also proud to share that the program included the awarding of certificates to our teachers in recognition of their action research, as well as for achieving a 100% pass percentage and meeting the national mean marks. This is a reflection of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to quality education.
Congratulations to all our teachers on these wonderful achievements.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to the parents for their active participation and support in making the event a success.
Together, we celebrate learning, dedication, and the inspiring legacy of His Majesty.

We are delighted to share that Madam Tshokey originally from Alaykha village and currently residing in the USA, has generously donated story books, pencil pouches, and other stationery items to Alaykha Primary School.

Her thoughtful contribution will greatly support our students in their learning journey and bring joy to many young minds.

We successfully conducted our first literary activity of 2026—a reading competition. It provided students with an opportunity to showcase their reading skills, build confidence, and develop a deeper interest in literature.

Alaykha Primary School successfully conducted its Annual Rimdro with great devotion and community spirit. The event commenced with Lhabsang and the inauguration of the Gyelpoyi Phodrang, marking an auspicious beginning.
We are deeply honored and grateful to the Hon’ble NC Chairperson for gracing the occasion, along with all the distinguished guests who took the time to join us.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all the parents and teachers for their dedication, hard work, and support in making this event a grand success. Together, we continue to strengthen our school community and preserve our rich traditions.

Alaykha Primary School successfully carried out a Community Cleanup Program with active participation from students, teachers, and community members.
The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness, responsibility, and environmental awareness among our young learners while strengthening our bond with the community. Together, we worked towards creating a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful environment for everyone.

Alaykha Primary School successfully conducted its first Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM). The meeting focused on improving and supporting the learning and wellbeing of our students.
Parents and teachers had meaningful discussions on how we can work together for the benefit and overall development of the children. During the meeting, a new Tshogpa for the year 2026 was also appointed.
We would like to sincerely thank all the parents for their time, participation, and continued support to the school and our students.

The young learners were received with khadar, symbolizing blessings, good wishes, and a joyful beginning to their learning journey. Seeing their bright smiles and excitement filled our school with happiness and hope for a wonderful year ahead.

The Annual Examination for Classes 4 and 5 has officially begun at Alaykha Primary School. Our students arrived with confidence and determination, ready to give their best. Teachers have been guiding and preparing them throughout the year, and we are proud to see their hard work reflected today.
