With immense pride and joy, we warmly welcomed our three students who recently participated in the National Scout Jamboree. The occasion was marked with offering of Khadhar and a simple cake-cutting ceremony as a token of appreciation for representing our school with dedication and enthusiasm.

At the same time, we also officially concluded the Scout Program for the First Term, celebrating the valuable experiences, teamwork, discipline, and leadership fostered through scouting activities.

We congratulate our young scouts for their participation and wish them continued success in their scouting journey. 🌿⚜️

🌱 Observing Social Forestry Day 2026 🌱

In celebration of Social Forestry Day, our school proudly carried out a tree plantation program in collaboration with Phrumsengla National Park. A total of 108 tree saplings were planted, symbolizing our collective commitment to environmental conservation and a greener future.

This meaningful initiative provided our students and staff with an opportunity to contribute directly to forest restoration while fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature. The activity also highlighted the importance of partnerships in promoting sustainable environmental practices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the officials of Phrumsengla National Park for their support and collaboration in making this event a success.

🌳 Plant a tree today, nurture a greener tomorrow. 🌳

🩸 Observing Menstrual Hygiene Day🩸

With the theme β€œTogether for a Period-Friendly World,” our school observed Menstrual Hygiene Day to raise awareness about the importance of menstrual health, hygiene, dignity, and support for all girls and women.

Although the global observance falls on 28 May, we were unable to mark the occasion on that day due to our ongoing testing week. Nevertheless, we felt it was important to take the time to engage our students in meaningful discussions and learning activities centered on menstrual health and well-being.

The program emphasized breaking myths and stigma surrounding menstruation, promoting healthy hygiene practices, and encouraging everyone to contribute towards creating a supportive and inclusive environment where menstruation is understood, respected, and openly discussed.

Together, we can build a world where no one is held back because of their period. 🌸

We also held a banner competition as part of the observance. Congratulations to the winners:
1st – Class IX
2nd – Class VII B
3rd – Class X.

πŸ₯ΎπŸ•️ One-Day Scout Hiking Adventure πŸ•οΈπŸ₯Ύ

Our Scouts completed a one-day hike from school to Somthrang Lhakhang using two different routes. The students were divided into six units, each led by a Unit Leader, with staff members assisting where needed.

After lunch, we surprised the Scouts with a fun activity by creating our own β€œtown” within the MPH area instead of going to Chamkhar Town as they had been told. The unexpected experience brought lots of excitement and laughter.

The day was filled with adventure, teamwork, and learning, and ended successfully with everyone returning safely.

Thank you to all teachers, staff, and Scouts for making the event a success! πŸŒΏπŸ‘
