Nachung Summer Camp 2026 Begins! 🏕️🌿

Our Nachung Scouts are all set to embark on an exciting journey of learning, adventure, and friendship as they participate in the Nachung Summer Camp 2026, to be held at Ura Central School from 2nd to 5th July 2026.

The camp aims to:
🤝 Foster friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation among scouts from different schools.
🏕️ Provide hands-on outdoor camping experiences and practical scouting activities.
🌱 Strengthen interaction between scouts and scout leaders through guidance and mentorship.
🧘 Offer a refreshing break from routine and promote mental well-being through meaningful outdoor experiences.

We have successfully conducted an awareness session on anti-bullying, covering its concepts, impacts, consequences, and available helplines to promote a safe and conducive learning environment for both students and staff. 🎉 Observing the International Day of Play 🎉

Our school joyfully celebrated the International Day of Play with fun-filled activities that brought smiles, laughter, and teamwork among our young learners and staff.

In the morning, students participated in exciting games according to their classes:
🎈 PP – Balloon Bursting
🏃 Class I – Pulling the Tail
🔺 Class II – Grabbing the Cone
🌈 Class III – Cone Color Game

The activities created a lively atmosphere where children learned the importance of play, cooperation, and happiness through active participation.

To make the celebration even more exciting, the day concluded with a friendly football match among the Ura Gewog staffs in the evening, strengthening friendship, unity, and community spirit through sports.

Play is not just fun — it is an essential part of learning, growth, and well-being. 🌟

During the PD hours, our School Counselor conducted an informative and engaging session for the students on “Study Tips and Stress Management.”

The program focused on helping students develop effective study habits, time management skills, and healthy ways to cope with academic stress. Students were encouraged to maintain a positive mindset, balanced routine, and seek support whenever needed.

Our Inter CG Indoor Games for both boys and girls concluded successfully with great enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event provided a wonderful platform for our students to showcase their talents, determination, and team spirit through various indoor games.

A heartfelt congratulations to all the participants, winners, and organizing team for making the event lively and memorable. Beyond competition, the games strengthened friendship, unity, and healthy participation among our students.

With immense pride and joy, we warmly welcomed our three students who recently participated in the National Scout Jamboree. The occasion was marked with offering of Khadhar and a simple cake-cutting ceremony as a token of appreciation for representing our school with dedication and enthusiasm.

At the same time, we also officially concluded the Scout Program for the First Term, celebrating the valuable experiences, teamwork, discipline, and leadership fostered through scouting activities.

🌱 Observing Social Forestry Day 2026 🌱

In celebration of Social Forestry Day, our school proudly carried out a tree plantation program in collaboration with Phrumsengla National Park. A total of 108 tree saplings were planted, symbolizing our collective commitment to environmental conservation and a greener future.

This meaningful initiative provided our students and staff with an opportunity to contribute directly to forest restoration while fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature. The activity also highlighted the importance of partnerships in promoting sustainable environmental practices.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the officials of Phrumsengla National Park for their support and collaboration in making this event a success.
