Wellington Preparatory School began as The Children’s Place—a small school rooted in the belief that education is not one-size-fits-all. From the beginning, our approach has centred on progressive, play-based and project-based learning, allowing children to learn through creativity, exploration and meaningful experiences.
As we have grown, our commitment has remained the same: to recognize each child as an individual and make quality education accessible to more families in our community.
As a small nonprofit school, we work hard to provide scholarships, support families and create welcoming, engaging learning spaces where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
We have created a school wishlist for those who may wish to support this mission in a practical way. Each item helps us stretch our resources, strengthen our programmes and continue providing opportunities for children who may not otherwise have access.
There is absolutely no pressure to contribute. Purchasing an item, sharing our wishlist or simply continuing to encourage and support our school all make a meaningful difference.

Cordesha has been a student at The Children's Place Spanish Wells and Wellington Preparatory School from the age of two.

She is a well rounded and well respected member of our school community. Cordesha balances extracurricular activities while maintaining a stellar academic record.

A talented gymnast, Carifta athlete, spelling bee champion, she has represented the country on a national stage and continues to have a positive, humble and caring attitude!
