As Guyana marks 60 years of independence this week, we’re highlighting the voices of our Year II Guyanese students at the Eugene Dupuch Law School.

In this feature, they reflect on life as international students, the pride they carry for home, and the future they hope to help shape. Their stories speak to ambition, service, identity, and the responsibility of returning with something meaningful to give.

For them, law is not only a profession. It is one way to pour back into the country that shaped them.

Happy 60th Independence Anniversary, Guyana. 🇬🇾
