Four successful blood donors were able to save twelve lives from our first joint blood drive with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Doctors Hospital. Persons are strongly advised to ensure they are eating a healthy diet to maintain high iron levels and to eat at least 30 minutes prior to attempting to donate blood 🩸

On December 22, 2024, the ladies of Kappa Delta Sigma Alumnae Chapter concluded their food drive in honor of HIV/AIDS Awareness Month. All non-perishable items collected were generously donated to residents at the All Saints Camp. This impactful event was hosted by the Women’s Wellness Initiative, aiming to raise awareness while directly benefiting those affected by HIV/AIDS.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, Superwash and Woodside Insurance Brokerage, as well as our public donors and chapter members. Your generosity made this event a remarkable success.

Saturdays are dedicated to Greater Service in our community, and members of the Kappa Delta Sigma Community Service Committee were seen doing just that!

Sorors attended the 2024 Bahamas Down Syndrome Buddy-Walk Fest, a fantastic event that offers an opportunity to give back and support The Bahamas Down Syndrome Organization in their mission to raise awareness.

The ladies assisted at the registration booth throughout the morning, connecting with organization members, including Bahamas Down Syndrome President Ms. Betty Taylor, other vendors, and participants. The day promises a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
