Good night, Tiger Country! This late night post is to let you know that school will open tomorrow as usual! Students of all grade levels will report to school for a full day. It's looking like rainy weather for the rest of the week so do what you need to stay safe and dry.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology advises parents and guardians that all public schools in New Providence, Grand Bahama and the Family Islands will be dismissed at noon today.

Parents are asked to collect their children at this time. The public is asked to stay tuned to the Ministry’s official platforms for updates on the reopening of schools.

Good morning, Tiger Country! A.F. Adderley officially reopens for the 2026-2027 school year on Monday 31st August. It's time for a quick update on our schedule for next week:

Monday, August 31st - Grade 7 Orientation 8:45-12 noon. 8th and 9th graders stay home.

Tuesday, September 1st - Grade 8 & 9 Back to School Bonanza 8:45-12 noon. 7th graders stay home.

Wednesday, September 2nd - Friday, September 4th - All students (7, 8, and 9) report for FULL days of school. 8:45-3:00.

ETA: Students in the Pre-Vocational Unit will follow this same schedule - Grade 7 only on Monday dismissed at noon and Grades 8 & 9 only on Tuesday dismissed at noon. All Pre-Voc students attend for full days from Wednesday onward.

Let's kick this school year off with a BANG!

Good morning, Tiger Country! While students eagerly await (or fearfully dread!) the return to school next week, our teachers are back to work making their preparations for the 2026-2027 school year! Refreshed and "roaring" to go, the teaching staff of A.F. Adderley is being encouraged and inspired to build on last year's triumphs and learn from our shortfalls. The work continues!
