On Monday, April 20, 2026, XLS Literacy Week kicked off under our theme Books on the Ground. 🤠📚

The week began with a special assembly featuring guest speaker Mrs. Maxine Seymour, proud XLS alumna, who left us inspired with her words: “Books on the Ground, Pens in the Air.”

Following the assembly, we hosted a Book Fair & cozy Reading Café where parents and guardians joined us to read with our students while enjoying breakfast treats.
