In their very first appearance in the Bahamas Youth Flag Football League (BYFFL) High School Tournament, the C. V. Bethel Stingrays rose to the occasion and captured the 2026 Senior Division Championship!🏆💙

Our talented team of both male and female athletes dominated the field from start to finish, displaying teamwork, intelligence, discipline, and pure Stingray determination. With a commanding 16-0 championship victory over Queen's College, the Stingrays proved that they came ready to compete at the highest level.

This historic achievement is a reflection of the hard work, resilience, and dedication poured into the program over the years. What makes this victory even sweeter is that this was the team’s first time competing—and they walked away as CHAMPIONS! 🔥

👏🏽 Congratulations to Head Coach Akeem Boyd, the coaching staff, and every player who proudly represented C. V. Bethel and made the Stingray family proud.

🥎🏆🔥 THREE-PEAT CHAMPIONS! 🔥🏆🥎

The C. V. Bethel Stingrays have done it again! Our senior girls’ softball team are the 2026 GSSSA Softball Champions, securing their THIRD CONSECUTIVE TITLE in spectacular fashion! 💙

The championships concluded on May 1, 2026, at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex, where our fourth-seeded Stingrays proved that heart, determination, and Stingray pride can overcome any odds.

After eliminating the top-seeded Government High School Magic in a thrilling sudden-death playoff, the Stingrays stormed into the finals and captured the championship with an exciting victory over the Doris Johnson Mystic Marlins! 🥎🔥

Special congratulations to Daja Ward, who was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) for her outstanding performance throughout the tournament!

👏🏽 Shout out to Head Coach Brad Wood and the entire team for continuing to build a legacy of excellence and dominance on the field.

The C. V. Bethel Sailing Club proudly represented the Stingray family at the 5th Annual Bahamas International Dragon Boat Festival, held on May 2–3, 2026, and our team showed tremendous determination, teamwork, and school spirit throughout the competition! 💙🔥

If your child/ward has a BGCSE examination scheduled for the morning, parents/guardians may pick them up immediately after the national exam.
