This week the Energy Academy students learnt about energy storage. They made hydrogen using both wind and solar and ran the stored hydrogen through a fuel cell to create a constant supply of electricity. As a result of inclement weather, the students also learnt about on of the major drawbacks of using renewable energy- the inability to control the supply of the natural resource.
